Le Nid (The Nest), is a fantastic studio (1 double bed) gite for couples. The private terrace and BBQ area provides a fantastic view of the neighbouring countryside. The living area and fully equipped kitchen retain all the original stonework and beams filling this cottage with character. The gite has free to air UK satellite TV and DVD player. The Dordogne valley, only 15 minutes from Le Roudier, has a wealth of interesting history dating back to Neolithic villages and wall paintings most which are open to the public. For those of you who are looking for a more relaxing holiday, the country walks and local markets provide an excellent platform to soak up the atmosphere and sample some of the local produce.
