7 bedroom house 100 acres of gardens, woods and lakes. Heated indoor pool.

Forge is a large country house set in impressive grounds of over 100 acres of landscaped park, woodlands, and lakes. The main part of the house has seven bedrooms; one with a four poster bed, three king size, one double and two twin single bed rooms. Six of the rooms have ensuite shower rooms and the one that does not has its own private shower room up the corridor.

This part of the house comes with a large dining hall with a table that seats 22 people comfortably and a kitchen just off this dining room.

Outside there is a large terrace situated just past the library doors that overlooks the ponds and woodlands. A shaded patio where you can dine al fresco. You will have exclusive use of the indoor pool, hot tub and sauna.

You will also have use of the games room with pool table, and the library with its wood burning stove.

The grounds have many unique spaces to sit and enjoy the wildlife, there is a Zen garden complete with small Asian temple, an Octagonal outdoor room, the Greek temple and the Roman temple plus a truly unusual bunker under a mound topped with a table and chair to enjoy the view. There is an orchard and a few enclosed formal gardens plus a variety of sculptures around the grounds.

There is wildlife everywhere, you will find a variety of birds, wild boar, deer, hares, pine martins, fish, red squirrels, bats, frogs, lizards and many different insects. 

The house comes with two cats, ducks and chickens it also has two house managers myself and my husband that live on site and are available to deal with any questions that you might have about such a large house and to ensure you have a fabulous holiday.
