Terrible Experience
We checked in right after Xmas. The heat was not on in the accommodations, and there was no indication from the host that the heat would not be turned on. When I awoke the next morning cold because it was only 14 (58F) in the apartment, I complained. I was told that the radiant floor heat wasn’t turned on for short stays (I stayed 2 nights), but was never told that the air conditioner (not turned on) heated the apartment on short stays. There was nothing of that in the listing, instructions sent, or otherwise. The host told me he sent me the instructions via text, but the text only talked about air conditioning.The host refused to acknowledge their error, lied about it, and then tried to gaslight me by saying I had not following non-existent directions was the reason they neglected to turn on the heat.And here’s the question that was never answered: why wasn’t any heating system turned on for my stay in the middle of winter? Apparently, it was my fault, according to the host. Would not recommend.
