About this property
LUXURY SELF-CATERING COTTAGE. THE DAIRY
The Dairy is a very pretty, cosy cottage, with exposed timbers, soft toned walls and touches of warm crimson and green. From the cobbled courtyard you walk into your private covered entrance way into an open-plan living area with an underfloor heated flagstone floor and Charnwood wood burning stove (there is an unlimited supply of kindling and logs) a comfortable sofa and chair with a Smart TV, Blu- Ray Player (also plays DVD’s and CD’s), Wi-Fi and books and magazines are provided for your enjoyment.
Adjacent to the seating area is the contemporary kitchen with its granite worktops, Neff electric oven, gas hob and other essentials for a comfortable stay. There are two soft dining chairs and a bistro table adjacent to one of the window seats overlooking the courtyard.
At the top of the stairs is an attractive landing with an elegant crimson chaise longue, a mirror, dressing table and chair. In the adjacent bedroom, with its high ceiling, exposed beams and a natural stone wall, the rich reds and greens are continued in the colour of the leather bedhead, cover and cushions of a very comfortable super-king bed. There is a large, luxurious bathroom with a double ended bath – with headrests, a 'wet room' style shower, heated towel rail and a large basin.
Outside the cottage is a large private, enclosed, garden with a lawn and mature trees and shrubs – a lovely setting in which to enjoy an alfresco meal on the Kettler garden table.
SLEEPS 2: Attractive large bedroom, with super-king bed and pretty furnishing both in this and the adjacent dressing area.
BATHING: Luxurious bathroom, with a bath tub - for two, complete with headrests, a shower, large basin and toilet. Dressing gowns, slippers and soft towels are provided. A hairdryer is provided. Toiletries are by Anne Semonin.
LIVING, KITCHEN & DINING: Open plan living space, with sofa, Charnwood wood burning stove, bistro table and chairs. Contemporary kitchen with granite worktop, Neff electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer.
Matching De'Longhi Kettle and Toaster. Professional Cook Ware and Knives. A welcome package of basic items is provided.
OUTSIDE: At the rear of the cottage is a very large private enclosed garden with a dining table and chairs on the patio and additional tables and seating areas throughout the garden. Secure, private parking and access to private parkland.
PETS: Two well behaved dogs are very welcome, but not puppies under 12 months of age please. Please contact us if you would like to discuss bringing other pets. Pets are charged at £20 each.
