Nice apartment but a little rough neighbourhoods

Nice and clean apartment suitable for four persons. We didn’t think the neighbourhood was so nice however. Unclean, rough and it felt a little unsafe. Close to almost everything though. The outdoors parts of the apartment didn’t by far meet our expectations. Dark, unclean and nothing like the pictures.

Missing terrace and bad conditions

Even though Lissabon is a great city i would highly recommend to NOT book this apartment. The terrace in the pictures, which would be the main reason to book this place, is missing. The water in the showers doesn’t drain (because of hair from others), which overflows the whole bathrooms. The rest of the apartment was pretty dirty too, especially the kitchen. The service after kindly asking for a compensation was quickly rejected “ because the description states that the pictures differ slightly from reality.” You could hear every step the neighbours made and the location is unsafe, as we had two encounters with thieves infront of the apartment. In conclusion the apartment was dirty, way smaller than the pictures showed and just a rip off. If you want to have a nice vacation book somewhere else :)

Vacation in Paradies

We had a fantastic stay in Espe’s and Jim’s apartment. As advertised, each room had ocean views. The apartment is designed very well and had lots of utensils and cookware. The communication with Espe was very proactive and you always got an answer to any questions within minutes. You really felt you lived in your own house and we did not want to leave 😁. We want to come back asap. I can highly recommend this place and it is only a 10 min walk to the praia and promenade.
