Nice living space, authentic cinque terre style with nice modern updates to the bathroom. Convienent to everywhere in Riomaggiore and cinque terre. Very helpful host with clear check in directions.
Everything was great, the host was super helpful and responsive, very nicely decorated. Easy to follow directions and check-in process. The only issue was the washing machine did not work properly.
All worked well from check-in to check-out. Easy communication with Paola, apartment looked like the pictures and was located in a good spot in Riomaggiore (a bit walk to uphill though, but you cannot avoid that). Parking a huge plus. Wifi worked well, as well as airconditioning, which was a must during our stay in July. Only small minus was that the washing machine was still out of use. Warmly recommended!
Cinque Terre and Riomaggiaore were amazing! We only had 2 days, and we hope to be back soon. The town is beautiful, and we were able to watch the sunset over the water from a seaside bar our first night. This apartment is cozy, clean, and very quiet. We cooked in one night and had so much fun there. Grazie and Ciao!
The apartment was clean and welcoming. Authentic to Italy which was what I was seeking. Communication with property manager was wonderful. She was very responsive. The only issue we had was the washer/dryer did not work so we had to take laundry to be laundered. We had a wonderful time in CT!!!! Thank you.
Beautiful. Old. Well updated. For us(over 70), it was probably too much of a climb. But once we got there, it was great. We later learned that our 3 day Cinque Terre pass got us free rides on the shuttle. Much easier.
Riomaggiore is the best village to stay because it's close to everything but not as touristy as the others. The apt is very authentic and adorable. Getting to it with the map provided was so much fun! Use the map instead of Google. The apt looks just like the listing. It's spotless and quiet. Paula is very responsive. Loved loved loved this place!
A very typical casa italiana - perfect for resting and cooking after a long day at hiking or swimming! Central AND quiet - you can always turn to PAOLA as your landlord (-lady) in case you need help. Thanks a lot!
This was such a great stay. So unique. The home is beautiful and transports you back in time. After visiting the other towns in cinque I’m so glad we chose riomaggiore and I can’t imagine a better rental than Poalos.
Just charming. So relaxing.
One tip
Get restaurant reservations way ahead of time. It’s almost impossible to go to dinner anywhere without reservations. This is true 7 days a week. So glad I booked rio bistro weeks ahead of time. There was a huge crowd waiting to get in at 7pm when they opened and they turned everyone away without one.
Ps
People eat super late here.
If you want to enjoy nightlife sleep in as long as you can.
Nice property, no A/C was a big drawback in the July heat
Very nice property, owner has helped us with the check in process late in the evening but an AC unit would have been really good (the apartment is in the sun the whole day). Another problem was that the owner Paola charged us 50EUR for the 2 nights parking when it's clearly stated in the property description that the parking fee is 15EUR/night (which I only noticed after we left). I was promptly refunded the 20EUR difference when I brought this up with the host, but it still left a bitter taste. The owner said the listing was not updated to reflect the new parking price but to this date the listing still shows parkign at 15 EUR/night. Otherwise very nice and clean apartment in a good location.
