Welcome to our flat in sunny Athens. The flat is a bright and sunny penthouse with great views and sunsets, next to Line 1 metro station "Agios Nikolaos” and overlooks the church of St. Nicholas. The flat is fully renovated (2019), quiet and spacious, and combines old Athenian style with contemporary design. You will have easy access to the city centre and tourist sights and also to amenities such as banks, supermarkets, tavernas, cafes, fast-food restaurants, pharmacies, hospitals, shops.
The flat is 70 sqm and comprises of 2 bedrooms, a lounge, a kitchen, and two bathrooms (one large and one small). There are two balconies: a large one with an awning providing ample shade and a small one. There are flatscreen TVs in the bedrooms and the lounge. The kitchen has an oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave oven; it is fully equipped with cooking utensils, a kettle and a coffee machine for filter coffee.
There are 2 air-condition units, one in the lounge and the other in one of the bedrooms. They both have heating and cooling mode and are adequate to heat or cool the entire apartment.

The flat has a safety door with a digital lock on it and is opened using a security code. For the main entrance to the block of flats, a key is provided which has to be returned during checkout. In the flat, a safe with your own personal code number is located in a closet.
Alexandra’s home is located in Agios Nikolaos which is a lively and historic neighbourhood of Athens. Almost anything you need is within walking distance. Across the street you will find the central square and the church of St Nicholas which contains the famous religious paintings of Fotis Kontoglou. Nearby, Acharnon avenue has lovely wide tree-lined pavements. It’s the perfect place to soak-up some cafe culture. The church of St Panteleimon, the largest in the Balkans and one of the largest in Europe, is within walking distance. If you have a sweet-tooth, don’t miss the famous pastry shop Kosmikon. You will see it as you exit “Agios Nikolaos” metro station en-route to the flat. This place is famous throughout Athens for making the best “galaktompoureko” in town!
The most popular sites are an easy metro ride away with “Agios Nikolaos” metro station (line 1) only 200 meters away. It provides excellent connections to Piraeus port, “El. Venizelos” International Airport and the Acropolis. The nearest bus stop to the flat is only 150 meters away.
To get to the apartment, there are two options! 1) Take the suburban railway from the airport, change at Neratziotissa station to line 1 towards Piraeus and get off at Agios Nikolaos station. 2) Take the metro from the airport (blue line - No3), change at Monastiraki station to line 1 towards Kifissia and get off at Agios Nikolaos station.
