Tired Villa In Need Of Some TLC
A family of 5 adults ages from 62 - 25 who have stayed in many villas in Vale Do Lobo over the last 10 years or so.
Pros of the Villa - Large pool and grounds. Good location. 15 mins walk to the Praça (not 5 as stated by the management company). Well equipped kitchen. Large Samsung fridge freezer which worked well. Spacious living and dining area. Lots of sun loungers and outside seating area which were in good condition.
Cons - The swimming pool has many missing tiles both on the sides and the floor which resulted in a few minor cuts to feet and hands on some of us. The tiling around the pool has also seen better days with cracks and crevices in it. The hot water in the main bedroom ran out after two days which meant we had to shower in the other bathroom. This bathroom had an ill fitting shower screen which meant that the floor flooded after every shower. The air conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms didn’t work at all. There were no cleaning cloths or cleaning materials provided to clean up after eating and cooking.
Not sure if this is mentioned in the villa details but it’s not suitable for wheelchair users or the infirm as there are lots of steep steps to the pool area.
