Burnside is a spacious studio apartment featuring a large picture window that overlooks a charming stream winding through the garden. The studio includes a fully equipped kitchen, cosy seating, and a double bedroom with a generous, walk-in en-suite wet room. A highlight of the space is the lovely conservatory, furnished with extra seating and a dining table, with double patio doors opening directly onto the garden—ideal for enjoying the summer sunshine. Additionally, a new rose garden with a stone bench offers a peaceful retreat to relax in the warm sun.
Located in the quiet hamlet of Torthorwald, Burnside provides a serene escape just a short walk from the local pub and restaurant, Torr House, soon to reopen after a full refurbishment. For the latest on their opening times, we recommend checking their website, as they currently operate on a part-time basis
A new convenience shop has recently opened in the neighbouring village of Lochmaben offering the usual options plus a cash machine.
