Large house near to some excellent beach locations. Shopping not too far although navigating the lanes can be tricky. Plenty of beach-suitable 'toys' available.
A spacious, well equipped house with a lovely garden in a delightful location. Lots of water sport and game equipment available. A perfect location for a family get together.
Moonrakers was the perfect spot for my fun-filled family weekend! We were walking distance from everything and had all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay! The weather cooperated, for the most part, and we had a joyous visit to Hope Cove - which is a little slice of heaven! Thanks to Frank for being such a great and responsive host!
We all enjoyed our stay at Moonrakers. The children young and old loved playing in the garden when the weather permitted.
The granddaughters found lots to do in the upstairs family room.
The layout downstairs worked really well for our birthday celebration. With plenty of room to enjoy being together.
Best wishes
Angela
Fabulous house with a great kitchen and 4 good bathrooms and masses of outdoor space for the children to play in, in a lovely village within walking distance of the beach. The upstairs bedrooms are lovely- plenty of space for the children to play there on a wet day. The beach equipment in the garage was much appreciated too!
We loved the nearby beaches of Hope Cove, South Milton Sands and Bantham.
Very helpful owners and excellent information folder in the house. Thoroughly recommend this house, we would love to return one day. Thank you!
Great property for an extended family holiday.
The photos don’t do this property justice as the bedrooms and garden are huge. There’s so much outdoor space for playing games and relaxing. If you like beaches there are many to explore close to the property. The hosts were very helpful and responded quickly. We would love to go back.
If I had one wish for the property it would be to have an extra/bigger fridge as with 11 people staying it was a bit of a squeeze.
Comfortable house in great location, great for families. There is enough space and having lots of bathrooms was a bonus. We mostly used the kitchen diner, the garden and the verandah as the weather was fine. We had lovely walks down to Hope cove and the coastal path. The house has lots of beach equipment. Good communication with the owner.
An ideal family holiday stay a short drive from the coast
The house is in a great location, quiet and near the coast. It it spacious with plenty of room for the family and great to have 4 bathrooms. A couple more chairs in the lounge would be useful, but the house is well equipped and lovely to be able to borrow beach equipment.
My family party consisting of three generations were delighted to be able to stay in this property. The rooms were clean, spacious and well furnished and the surroundings were spectacular. The kitchen was well equipped for catering for a large group, but we needed more seating in the lounge. The property is a little difficult to find and there are many narrow windy lanes in the area but only to be expected in Devon and well worth it to stay in such a lovely house.
