Oakthwaite Lodge is located in a secluded location of Thornbarrow road in Windermere yet only a few moments walk to the popular towns of Windermere and Bowness on Windermere - home to Englands largest lake.

The Lodge features two wonderfully proportioned bedrooms (one double and one twin), a relaxed open plan living, dining, kitchen area with sky television and a beautifully newly refurbished bathroom with bath and shower over.

To the front of the property is ample parking for two cars plus a large patio area to the rear with optional BBQ to enjoy the summer lake district evenings.

Oakthwaite Lodge although perfect for just four guests, the adjacent Oakthwaite house with two charming ensuite rooms is a great alternative for larger families, providing two additional rooms.

Guest Access:
We live on site so are available at anytime if required at anytime but provide a self check in for guests to arrive at a time suitable to you.

The property is located minutes away from Windermere town centre as well as a short walk to Bowness on Windermere and Englands largest lake - Lake Windermere.

Getting Around:
The property is easily accessible by foot as well as public transport - Windermere station is less than one mile away.
