We just got back from a week in Truro and we're very happy with the property we stayed at. It was clean, had plenty of room, and was nice and quiet and relaxing. The property had all the amenities we needed and had lots of beautiful outdoor spaces to also enjoy. Had a great stay ! Would recommend !
Amazing! Charming! Perfect place for some solitude!
I feel so lucky to have found this gem of a property and I hate to even give it such a good review in fear that it will be booked the next time I hope to stay there again.
Beautiful flowers, green acreage, organic farm and sweet as could be host.
My wife and I traveled to Cape Cod for the Wellfleet Oyster Fest and found this place perfectly centered between Provincetown and Wellfleet. It was exactly as described, friendly owners and sitting adjacent to a small farm/large garden. The owner recommended the outdoor shower, which we weren't sure about but ended up loving. It's quiet and both isolated and not; 15 minutes from everything, plenty to eat nearby, close to beaches and trails. We loved our stay!
Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in this beautiful private cottage. Our host Deborah provided fresh flowers and many small thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. The kitchen was amply stocked and the beds were comfortable and cozy. We especially enjoyed the Baltimore Orioles and the private gardens surrounding the building. You can't go wrong here!

A great weekend away!
My mother and I came here for a mental vacation/weekend away. Janice was very accommodating and the house was ready with lights on when we arrived. The area is beautiful and so peaceful. The house was cozy and fit all of our needs :) My beagle/lab Oliver loved the yard and the beach nearby. I would DEFINITELY recommend this property to anyone looking for a weekend away on the Cape.
There aren't many pictures available in the listing (which sometimes leaves me a bit skeptical about a property), but rest assured that the Antone Marshall house is beautiful and well-appointed. Very nice kitchen space, good-sized bathroom with excellent natural light and two full bedrooms. The master upstairs is a lovely standalone space with its own small balcony that gets sun throughout the day. It's a perfect amount of space for two couples who don't mind sharing a bathroom. The back patio is spacious and opens to a much larger yard which is shared with the main property as well as some farming. There is also a little hiking trail that is connected by the road which runs just behind the backyard area.
In terms of location, there's not a lot going on in Truro, but the house is easily accessible to Rt. 6 (the main highway running thru the Cape). It's only about 10 minutes to Wellfleet, about 15 to P-town and 40 or so down to Chatham. Plus you have beaches almost everywhere around you (my favorite was Corn Hill, which you can get to from the house on back roads in ~ 5 minutes).
All in all, the property is lovely, relaxing and secluded but accessible to all of the various activities that people enjoy when they visit the Cape. And Ron and Deborah were gracious and responsive hosts.
Would certainly stay here again.
We had a delightful week in this lovely cottage. The beautiful grounds are visible from every window, and we enjoyed the green and blooming landscape. The weather was perfect and we spent lots of time on the patio and balcony, from our breakfast coffee to watching the stars at night. Although the property is close to Rt 6, you definitely feel a real sense of privacy.
Deborah was a responsive host and was great about resolving
some minor issues during our stay.
We look forward to a return visit!
My husband, adult daughter and I spent a lovely week at the Antone Marshall House in Truro. The house is comfortable, furnished with antiques but didn't feel fussy, and was just perfect for the three of us. We look forward to visiting again next year! Only advice for future guests is that there are skylights, so if you like to sleep late in a dark room, bring your eye mask. Also, the one bedroom and the bathroom are both up one step from the main kitchen/living room/dining room, so that, combined with the short walk through the grass around the house to get inside could be an issue for those with limited mobility.
This is a beautifully maintained and situated property. We loved everything about it and plan on returning. The hosts were exceptionally attentive but not intrusive. We had an exceptional stay.
This is a wonderfully secluded property in one of the most beautiful areas of the Cape. The rental unit is one of two outer buildings at a substantial distance from the main house. Our recent and return stay during the winter gave us a chance to appreciate Truro during its quietest season. The cottage is cozy and warm in winter, and was absolutely immaculate as it has been in previous stays. We especially appreciate the well equipped and cook-friendly kitchen. Deborah could not be more thoughtful and welcoming; she provided constant communication during a late arrival and left us a basket of treats that was most welcome after a long day. We love staying at her property and only wish we could do so more often
This is a beautiful cottage with two nice bedrooms! One upstairs in loft and one downstairs! It is nicely decorated with many antiques and has a well stocked kitchen. The only drawback for me was our mattress was very hard and I had to toss and turn all night to be comfortable. The loft bedroom mattress was also very hard and bed was squeaky! We did enjoy our visit and location very much!
Liked it so much last year we had to come back.
Clean, full of amenities, and the perfect location for the beaches and restaurants we frequent while in Truro.
This is a gem of a property, like a french cottage in the woods. The host was wonderful and accessible, the kitchen was well stocked, and the furnishings beautiful. We are so grateful to the owner for sharing this wonderful place and hope to come back soon.
This is a fully equipped, immaculately maintained, and carefully renovated former barn. The grounds are lovely and the location is serene. The property is truly special.
I can't speak highly enough of this lovely property and the thoughtful hosts. I had a wonderful, peaceful trip with my dog and a couple of friends who came for part of the stay. Everything was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. I'd give six stars if I could! It was a celebration for my birthday, and the hosts even left a cupcake and flowers to welcome me! Would visit again, no question.
We had a lovely time. Great location near Pamet River and Harbor, beaches, hiking. Lovely cottage with skylights, fully equipped kitchen, nice patio, and everything we needed. Plus, our cat loved the place as well! Would definitely stay here again.
Quaint historic farmhouse on property that feels like it is in the middle of nowhere, but 15 minutes and you're in the hustle and bustle of P Town. Even off season plenty to do out here, and this place is a great respite in between adventures.
