Host & Stay | Apartment One, Hudsons Yard House
Summary:
Apartment One is a newly renovated, stylish apartment housed inside Hudsons Yard House on the famous Flowergate in the heart of Whitby. The apartment boasts simple interiors with touches of luxury throughout. If you’re looking for a break by the sea, close to the action, Apartment One is the perfect retreat.
Sleeping up to four guests across one level, Apartment One is perfect for a romantic getaway for two or a short break for four.
The Space:
Located on the first floor of Hudsons Yard House, Apartment One has a monochrome interior palette with the odd splash of colour, creating a modern and relaxed space.
The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is flooded with light from the large sash style windows. With ample space you can cook, dine and relax as a group during your stay.
LIVING ROOM
The orange suede sofa and contrasting grey armchair frame the living room and make the perfect space to enjoy a lazy morning or relaxing evening in front of the TV.
KITCHEN
The property has a high gloss light grey, L-shaped kitchen. Fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay, including the basics of oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge to those little luxuries of a dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine.
DINING AREA
The relaxed dining area features a rectangle metal and wood dining table and two matching benches. The perfect setting for sharing plates and some locally sourced drinks. This space can double up as a work space if you need to log on during your trip.
BEDROOM 1
Head down the hallway from the dining area and you’ll find the first of the two kingsize bedrooms. With an industrial style dark wood and metal bed, a black bedside tray table and a marble based arch floor lamp you can close the blinds and enjoy the warm glow of the Edison bulb. A splash of colour comes from the velvet style palm print cushions which bring the room to life.
BATHROOM
Head back to the hallway and you’ll find the bathroom. The bathroom includes a WC, basin and large walk in shower. The walls are tiled floor to ceiling with large grey tiles and the room is finished off with a wood effect floor.
BEDROOM 2
The second kingsize bedroom can be found at the end of the hallway. This is the largest of the two bedrooms and features a large sash style window and black hanging rail. A basket style bedside table is the perfect height to rest your morning cuppa and the marble based arch lamp makes a great reading light. The soft furnishings and wall art are rich golds and warm yellows bringing a splash of colour to this minimalistic bedroom style.
