Best stay ever

The property is so lovely, has many hang out areas and is secluded so gives you peace and quiet and privacy to do what you like! Very spacious, lots of natural light, very well kept and has all the amenities you would need. The villa is so inviting it is actually quite hard to leave it! Close enough to explore Lagos and Portimao and other surrounding towns so would recommend renting a car, or Ubers are very reasonably priced. Peter was so so kind to accommodate us and gave us many recommendations for nearby things to do and places to eat! There is also a laguna nearby with flamingoes which is nice for a walk or run, and a nearby bird sanctuary you can visit on Thursday mornings, as well as a healing spa centre down the road. Honestly we had the best time here with friends for my birthday, could not have imagined a better time! Would highly highly reccommend to anyone :) Would rate higher if I could, Thanks again Peter!

Ruhig gelegene traumhaft schöne Villa

Wir haben die sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Villa und den Garten mit dem wirklich großen Pool sehr genossen. Einzig die Mücken haben uns geärgert. In Lagos ist man in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Bis Portimao ist es nicht viel weiter. Auch die übrigen Orte an der Südwestalgarve sind alle innerhalb einer Stunde erreichbar. In Mexilhoeira Grande gibt es alles, was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt.

Belle propriété à première vue, mais... - personne à notre arrivée, personne à notre départ - l'extérieur n'était pas propre (barbecue non nettoyé, comme le frigo) - mobilier extérieur très abîmé, dont les transats dans un très mauvais état - eau du robinet non potable - toilettes de la chambre du haut non utilisable normalement (interdiction de mettre du papier dans les WC) - pas de volet côté est dans la chambre du haut - chambre du bas sans toilette, sans évier, sans salle de bain (nécessité de passer par l'extérieur) L'annonce le précise dans le détail mais pas dans l'encart "à propos de cette location", qui affiche "4 salles de bains" - baie vitrée ne fermant pas (pour l'une d'elle) - chiens agressifs dans la propriété voisine En résumé, rapport qualité/prix excessif

Not what we expected for the price we paid

The house needs some love… Old furnitures around the pool, pool area and grill area very messy, one shower didn’t drain, one toilet didn’t flush. The most disappointing thing was we needed 4 bedrooms but the access of the 4th bedroom was outside with no inside access to the house and toilet. The kids had to go outside in the middle of the night to come to the restroom inside the house. Not acceptable and was never mentioned in the description. We still enjoy our time there! The house has lots of potential. The house is in a great central location. The host was very nice and helpful.

Fantástico

Una maravilla de casa, muy bien distribuida y en buenas condiciones. Distintos ambientes exteriores muy agradables que hacen disfrutar mucho de la villa, con una piscina y merendero anexo encantadores. El host proporciona mucha información útil de sitios interesantes que visitar en los alrededores, así como algún restaurante agradable. Responde rápido y es amable. En resumen, el nivel de satisfacción es 100%.

House is great

The house is great, the living room is really good. All the bedrooms are pretty good. The only thing bad was that the TV box was not working. We had a great time there. Good house to take your dog/s.

A little piece of heaven

It was amazing our stay, we have had a fantastic time and managed to have an amazing time in a very safe place with a superb support from Mr Peter ( the landlord) I cannot recommend it enough.
