4 person holiday home in Mönsterås

A modern and comfortable holiday home situated in the beautiful village of Oknö, a popular holiday destination close to the town of Kalmar.This charming holiday paradise is located on an island which you can drive to over a bridge. There are several bathing areas, within walking distance, on the island. A lovely view of Öland to the east. The house was built in 2011. There are two houses on the property, one of which the owners live in. Your garden is partly separated from the owner’s, and it is a lovely place to relax in with garden furniture, a hanging hammock and a garden grill. There is also a comfortable front porch. The interior of the house has an open planning and features a well-equipped mini kitchen (trinett). The living room features a double extra bed (sofa bed). A ladder leads from the living room up to the other sleeping area. You reach the other sleeping area Just like the rest of the house, the bathroom is light and welcoming and has underfloor heating. The closest restaurant is only 400 metres from the house. There is a tennis court and a spa including saunas 200 metres away and the nearby town Kalmar offers shopping and entertainment. Be sure to visit the muséum with it’s beautiful exhibition about the royal ship Kronan. For those who like football, there is the Kronfågeln Arena, where you might be able to catch a game with the hometeam Kalmar FF. Or take a trip to Öland or to Astrid Lindgren’s World, the perfect destination for families with young children! The house is suitable for summer- and winter holidays alike. Enjoy the crisp, fresh air, a cool spring or autumn day and take a walk along the quiet back roads of the island. In wintertime this is a perfect place for skiing and sledding. There are good chances of snow in the area along the coast during the winter months. A canoe, a boat and a motore to the boat is available for rent and should be paid for in cash directly to the owners.
