Ocean Cottage 46 This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath cottage captures the essence of coastal living. This home is located in Jekyll Island's newest cottage community The Cottages at Jekyll Island and is dressed with ocean views. This cottage boasts 2 master suites, one on each floor, and a second floor bunk room offering 4 bunk beds. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living area that, when pulled and inflated, will comfortably sleep 2. The first floor is home to an open kitchen, which flows into the spacious dining and main living area. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and a Mr. Coffee Machine. This cottage provides easy access to a garage off of the kitchen. Off of the main living area is a screened in porch, perfect for every season. The second floor houses one of the two master suites, as well as the bunk room. The second floor also has a small sitting area and spacious laundry room. Attached to the second floor master suite is a screened balcony made for watching the sunrise. In addition guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island million dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access and community firepit.

THE COTTAGES BEACH ACCESS:
The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn.
