Ideal for couples, families and friends looking for a very comfortable home from home property for a short or long stay in the wonderful town of Stratford-Upon-Avon. With numerous restaurants, pubs, shops and attractions right on your doorstep, you can leave the car at home and enjoy meandering through the streets and riverside stopping off for coffee and cake, drinks and fabulous meals. One of the main attractions of this great town is the links to the famous English writer and poet, William Shakespeare, and you can visit his birthplace, or Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, and even have a drink in one of his locals, Stratford’s oldest pub. Take a boat trip on the river, visit the butterfly farm, take in a play at the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre or have a flutter on the horses at the local racecourse, just some of the other attractions in the town.
If you want to venture out a bit further, the railway station is just ½ mile away connecting Birmingham and London. The stunning area of the Cotswolds is 20 minutes’ drive away where you can visit quintessential towns and villages taking in the stunning countryside along the way. Other great areas to visit include Warwick, with its famous castle, a great day out for all the family. Royal Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and Birmingham and the NEC are easily accessible.
