Beautiful little cottage, but a bit damp
We loved the location near Keswick. But the cottage itself was cold and a bit damp. The cubboard smelled horrible so we washed our glasses and didn't put them in the cubboards. The beds were decent.

Quiet and clean cottage
This was a nice, clean little cottage and pictures are accurate. Everything was clean. It was a bit tricky to find - the directions were accurate once we found it, the location is just not straightforward to describe! It would've been nice to have a few more basics that one doesn't normally travel with like a little sugar and maybe some paper towels, otherwise no complaints. We went for a nice hike up the trail behind the village and spent time on Derwentwater and in Keswick. Convenient to Keswick while still having a quiet setting.
