About this property

Family Cabin. Summer Village of Parkland Beach, Gull Lake AB

Great family cabin located steps away from the beach.

Upstairs you will find a large kids bedroom with single over double bunk bed and a double bed. Across from this room is the master bedroom with a queen size bed and a single captain bed.

On the main floor you will find a large living room, dining room, kitchen, washroom and 2 more bedrooms.

The 1/2 acre property has a great play structure in the front and a large camp fire area in the back.

Located a short 3 minute walk from beach which has a amazing play ground and 5 minutes walk to the marina and the Convenience Store .

The neighborhood is quiet and offers many walking paths throughout the village and by the lake.

This winter, enjoy some Ice Fishing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, kite surfing on the ice or maybe try some downhill skiing at Medicine Lodge Ski Area. (short drive)

Amazing place!!

We loved this place (2 adults+2 early teens). Incredibly comfortable home with a ton of character. Great location & place has everything you could possibly need. Communication with owner was above and beyond. We 1000% can't wait to come back, and fully understand the many good reviews. Just so much good.

Peaceful location

We love staying on the property well maintained clean cabin. Hosts provide everything we need. Lots off sleeping areas, huge fire pit, minutes from the lake beach. Store close by for ice a Thanks

Older cabin in great location

This cabin is exactly as advertised - it is older but has all the necessities. Location is great for spending time at Gull Lake (and Sylvan Lake is only 30 mins away). Gave it 4 stars as it could have been cleaner - cobwebs on the ceiling in a few places, table by TV needed to be wiped, balcony on 2nd floor had mice or bat droppings all over the floor. Bathroom and kitchen were very clean. Firepit was lovely but outdoor chairs were not clean so bring your own.

Wonderful trip!

Very happy with our stay at Parkland Beach! The kids loved the beach area, and being able to walk there every day (or several times a day!). The property is beautiful and shady, and the play area was enjoyed by all the children. Wildlife was abundant, with daily sighting of deer…. one morning a young buck walked through the yard within several feet of us. Thankyou so much!

Perfect little cabin by the beach

Perfect little cabin that is a few mins walking distance to the beach! Our family stays here every summer and the kids absolutely love the play set on the property and the close proximity to the beach, store and biking trails. The adults love the quiet area and relaxing fire pit area. Has everything you need for a much needed getaway!

The cabin had everything you could need. Easy checkin check out. Within walking distance to the beach and so many paths. Firepit was awesome with wood available. Weather was perfect. The only thing was that the poplar trees were seeding so there was SO MUCH fluff around. Other than that perfect!n

This was our 3rd year staying at 20 Parkland Drive. Our family of 7 love this cabin & surrounding area at Parkland Beach. We hope to be returning next year!

Great location!

We loved being able to bike to the beach in minutes, and the kids had an amazing time playing lazer tag in the huge yard. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation!

Perfect lake getaway

This was a perfect lake getaway for our family. It was our second summer visiting Parkland Beach. The public beach is just a 3min walk away and the playground, sand and water kept everyone entertained. When we returned to the cottage we had everything we needed for a home away from home. Four comfortable bedrooms, well appointed kitchen, sitting room and space to eat/play board games. Lots of memories were created in this lovely community this week.

Perfect family getaway

My husband and I spent a week at the cabin with our young grandchildren. The cabin was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms are bright and comfortable and the dining and sitting areas are spacious. The cabin is on a large property with lots of trees for privacy. Great fire pit. The beautiful beach is only a two minute walk. I would definitely recommend!

The A frame Chalet

We enjoyed our stay, the only thing I would suggest, if you go in the winter bring wood enough for you stay, indoor fire ran 24 hrs a day and even at-40 we got a fire outdoor and we burn lots of wood, it was a great time for our family, the convenience store save us few time during our stay, thanks we had a blast

The beach has a playground, boat launch, washrooms, adult exercise equipment, nature signs and walking trails.

Why they chose this property

Clear Water and Sandy Beaches
The lake is a popular destination for recreation, yet it is rarely crowded. Gull Lake is one of the only Alberta lakes that uses a pumping station, with water diverted from the Blindman River, to maintain water levels. This ensures the long-term health of the lake and consistent water levels for recreation. In the summer, residents and visitors can look forward to long days of water activities, fishing, sun-tanning, barbecuing, and pelican watching. The fun doesn’t stop when it snows; Gull Lake is known for its excellent ice-fishing. A skating rink is also cleared and maintained each winter.
