Seaview Tynemouth Apartment and Parking

With its fantastic view over the river mouth to sea, the apartment is on a quiet residential street only 5 mins walk into the vibrant village of Tynemouth. All our guests love the apartment, it is spacious and beautifully furnished with all you need for a relaxing time away. Guests frequently say that the apartment surpasses their expectations. We'll do all we can to give you a memorable and happy stay.

LOCATION:

The flat is located in a quiet and peaceful street but is a five minute walk from the lively village of Tynemouth. The Victorian building has a wonderful view across a private garden to the Mouth of the Tyne and beyond. The south-facing front windows ensure that the apartment is light and airy, enjoying beautiful sunsets and often a good view of the Northern Lights.

The apartment is in a prime position, on one of the most elegant streets in Tynemouth, and is a five minute walk from the central village and the Tynemouth Priory, and has two beautiful and award-winning beaches in a fifteen minutes walk. We can also accommodate your furry friend (please message in advance!) and we can recommend nearby walks. Please also feel free to message for local bars, restaurants, and event recommendations.

THE APARTMENT:

The apartment is on the first floor. Our guests are often surprised by how spacious the apartment is, and that it surpasses their expectations. The apartment is on a very quiet street and access is from the stone steps up to the main front door of the building. Once inside, the door to your apartment is directly in front of you.

We also have a second two-bedroom apartment downstairs, if you want to travel with a larger group. Don't hesitate to contact us so we can ensure both are available at the same time.


LIVING ROOM:

The living room is extremely large, bright and spacious, with an outlook towards the river mouth. It has plenty of seating with two large sofas and a Smart TV where you can watch live television, access UK streaming channels, and connect to Netflix, Amazon and others.

One of our favourite parts about the living room is the six-seat table in the bay window which allows guests to enjoy the view, and gorgeous sunsets in the evenings.

There is also a collection of games suitable for the whole family.


KITCHEN:

The kitchen is fully fitted with all the cooking appliances that you'll need for your holiday. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine, should you need them. We are confident that we have provided everything you should need for cooking whilst you're there, but please let us know if you feel anything could be added.


BEDROOMS:

The master bedroom has a bay window provides the same light and atmosphere experienced in the living room. The bedroom, with a king sized bed and luxurious bedding, is a treat to stay in. Our guests love waking up to the fantastic view.

If you are travelling with multiple guests, you can make use of the comfortable sofa bed in the living room. Please contact us if you would like extra bedding and towels.


BATHROOM:

The family bathroom is spacious and bright. It has a full-sized bath with a shower above, a basin and WC. There is also a utility room attached where you can find towels, washing machine, and an ironing board.

Why they chose this property

Tynemouth advocates for itself as the most popular seaside village in the North East, with plenty to do all-year round. There is a very vibrant village centre with independent cafes, bars, and shops.

All of Tynemouth's beaches are well-known and well loved, and form part of a surfer's paradise. Tynemouth's beaches are safe to visit and swim at, with lifeguards on duty, and children enjoy rockpooling towards the old Tynemouth Pool. For people who may enjoy or want to try their hand at open-water swimming, There are also saunas, and two brilliant cafes for a pick-me-up whilst you're down there.

For anyone travelling with children, Tynemouth has seaside attractions, including mini golf and inflatables. and an aquarium on the seafront. There is also a popular Victorian park which is lovely to walk around at any age.

For fans of history, the English Heritage own the Tynemouth Priory, which can be seen from a distance by looking left on the pavement outside the apartment, but is a poignant part of the Tynemouth architecture at the bottom of Front Street. Tynemouth is well blessed with beautiful Georgian and Victorian buildings, and the Collingwood Monument is clearly visible from the apartment where it overlooks the river mouth.

For your entertainment, there are many events ongoing in Tynemouth village. In July, there is the annual Mouth of the Tyne Festival which encompasses the whole village with street fairs and live music. The most prominent part of the festival is the headline open air concert at the Tynemouth Priory. In the evenings, there are also local bars and pubs with live music and quizzes.

Another five minutes walk from the apartment is a beautiful Victorian station, which is architecturally significant with its glass ceilings and wide platforms. There are a number of independent shops, bars and restaurants in the station as well, and every weekend there is a wonderful market which spans both platforms.

The apartment is unique as it boasts stunning views across the river mouth toward South Shields, and its huge original Victorian bay windows help you to enjoy these views and see all the ships going past. It is also set into a quiet residential area so it can be a relaxing accommodation without being out of the centre of Tynemouth life. We strive to make the apartment is as luxurious as possible so we have taken the best parts of a boutique hotel whilst allowing you the flexibility of a self-catered stay.
