Beautiful!

You can't beat this location! I echo the other reviews, getting here is difficult. We drove by car and it was tough, however well worth it! Wonderful accommodations! Our favorite place we stayed in our Italy/France tour!

Best Place to Stay in Cinque Terre

This place is amazing!!! The view has to be the absolute best in the entire region--you can see two of the towns from your window! The property and the villa are absolutely beautiful too and was even better than we had hoped for. There is a small restaurant on the property and the lady there made the best lasagna that we had in all of Italy so be sure to order that! There was also a little farmers market and we really enjoyed the fresh fruit and vegetables. Mirjan and his father were incredibly helpful and even offered to pick us up one time we were stranded in the town. This was the only challenge to the property. It is a really steep climb and access to the town is difficult. The family provides the transportation to and from the train station, but once you're there you will need to find a way to get to town. Cabs are available but it is more of a challenge to find one in the busy season. We were able to get it figured out though and it was certainly worth it! This was such an incredible experience staying here and we will always treasure the memories!!

Quiet retreat with amazing view

Two teens and 3 adults in their 50s stayed here. Really nice updated unit. Unit located among a group of rentals at highest point on blue trail between Vernazza and Corniglia. Nice outdoor sitting area with absolutely amazing view. Owner offers transport from Corniglia train station to rental at check-in and check-out. You must be prepared to hike in and out to get to location daily. No taxis. Takes 30-40 minutes either to Vernazza or Corniglia. Make sure to plan return before dark or bring a headlamp. Overall great place to stay!

Beautiful location

Hiked the Blue trail right outside our door, centrally located to the 5 villages. Wish we had stayed longer.

Great Spot for Able-Bodied People

Beautiful setting & description on VRBO made us rent this property. Property as described & nicely updated. Owners were very helpful getting us to/from Corniglia train station, & answering questions during our 5-day stay. Adult children in 40s & middle school grandchildren with us would rate this property a 5. Everything about it worked well for them. As the late 60s/early 70s couple who rented it for our family, we rated our experience lower. (Children’s rating of 5, our 3, & we posted the average of 4.) With more detail in the description, we would not have chosen this spot. Additional info for your rental decision: - Many Cinque Terre travel sites say don't get a car. Sites say go place to place by train &/or ferry, so we didn't rent a car. Big Mistake. Most ~65 years+ who stay at this property should *Get A Car*. Property is in rural setting between Corniglia & Vernazza. Necessary to hike somewhat rugged .75-1.5 mile trails that take 45 min-1+ hours to walk -or walk ~2 miles on very steep roads- to get to either town. Slippery when wet too. *Much* harder to walk than many steep Italy settings we've visited. -There's 1 taxi (1 single van) for this area. Need to book as far in advance as possible; many rely on that 1 van. -Very steep walk to get from property to parking area. If you have any mobility issues, this isn't the place for you. - To recap, *for many people, this property will quite work well*. Not for most ~65+ people. It's too hard to stay here.

Very nice view

Very nice view and clean rooms. Great to have the private roof terrace. There is also a bar a a few meters away where you can by coffee and beer. Unfortunately Wifi and air condition in one room did not work and could not be repaired the whole week.
