Feel free to start the day with a morning dip from your own jetty and then sit in the sun and just enjoy. Or serve breakfast and freshly brewed coffee in the kitchen or on the balcony - a better start to the day is hard to get! The cottage was partially renovated in 2015 when the entrance floor with kitchen, bedroom and bathroom was renovated. The kitchen is very tasteful and well equipped with a lovely dining area where you can really enjoy the magnificent views. Bright and nice bedroom with double bed 140 cm wide. Fully tiled and fresh bathroom that can be reached from both the bedroom and the hall. Upstairs there is an open living room with warming fireplace and carpet. The alcove has a double bed 140 cm wide. Here too you have a fantastic view. On the other side of the living room you have a TV corner with sofas, and a single bed in another alcove. Space also for extra bed, (folding with foam mattress) suitable for children. From the living room you have access to a small terrace with magical views, perfect for morning coffee. In the basement there is access to washing machine and dryer. The laundry room is shared with the owner who occasionally stays in a separate apartment in the basement. If you do not want to swim from your own jetty, there are several nice bathing places with rocks or sandy beach at a distance of about 200-400 m. Gullholmen is a unique island dating from the 13th century. Today, Gullholmen with a bridge connection to Härmanö is a vibrant community with about 120 year-round residents and many times more residents in the summer. Gullholmen has a fantastic environment in Bohuslän's outer archipelago with an active boating life, recreation in nature reserves, swimming, fishing with a unique settlement and environment. In addition to enjoying the island's atmosphere with small alleys and old beautiful fishing cottages, boathouses and piers, fantastic walks and wonderful bathing cliffs, there are also a number of attractions for those interested in culture, including Skepparhuset, Art Museum, Stenstugan and nature reserve on Härmanö with its heather moors, flowering meadows and moors. . Gullholmen is a car-free island where you park at your own parking space in the ferry terminal in Tuvesvik on Orust. The ferry crossing takes only 5-10 minutes.
