Otters, seals, bald eagles and a variety of birds can be seen from the expansive windows facing the Strait and a telescope allows for seeing the marine traffic up close. Occasionally you can even catch glimpses of the Orcas playing in the Strait.

The lovely first floor has many windows facing the water that flood the rooms with natural light and allow for you not to miss a thing that happens. The open concept living/dining area has comfortable contemporary furnishings, dining area, telescope for taking a closer look at the marine traffic and wildlife, Cable TV/DVD and free Wifi. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher is ready for you to whip up a meal or light snack. After your day's adventure, retire into the media room and watch a favorite movie. The downstairs bedroom has a comfortable Tempurpedic queen size mattress.

Relaxing mini get-away with friends with great views!

Nice and clean house. Lots of room for 2 couples. Great views of Protection Island. And easy access to walk along the beach. Kitchen very well supplied with dishes, pot/pans, etc. Lots of room to comfortably sit in the living room, or the couches in the room adjacent to the kitchen. Overall, FIVE STARS, would come again.Here's a few recommendations/suggestions for improvements:- Kitchen Knife set - need to sharpen blades- Light bulb over dinning table needs teplacement- Need outdoor lights for back porch, and some kind of reflecting tape to identify the edge of the deck where there is a step from one level of the deck to the other deck level. Our friend didnt notice the step down on the back deck and had a tumble. Ouch!Overall, highly recommend this house and would come again.🤩

Amazing Shoreside Home

We enjoyed a lazy couple of days comfortable and cozy. While the weather was a bit cold and rainy, we enjoyed spotting wildlife and ships from the comfort of our living room and kitchen table in the warmth of a fire in the fireplace. The bedrooms were comfortable and perfectly equipped with an amazing view and terrace upstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped and supplied for a couple of great meals. We look forward to returning in the summertime to spend time on the deck and walk along the shore. This is one of our best stays ever.

firewood and cleaning

Nothing stated about firewood for fireplace. we got there only to find out we had one presto log for a 3 night stay, was told to go to store to get more. Not going half hour drive when not planned to leave house via car. Air intake in stairs was full of dust balls. Allergy issues. Pots and pan low in cabinet, no shelf, couldn't get due to injury. Book advertises about other places not anything about all the electronic controls. Plexiglass on porch was so dirty we cleaned it to watch the birds and sealife. This was a staycation for us, not to run to the store for whatever. we came to stay and walk around neighborhood.

Gorgeous, relaxing, easy

What a delightful getaway! We arrived at the pink moment and enjoyed the panoramic view of the water and sky from the back deck. After it got dark, we saw the Milky Way. Every day the picture-frame window showed us a new view: clear with some whitecaps, gray and calm, stormy... all with the sea birds doing their thing. The space is very comfortable, kitchen well-equipped, wifi worked fine (esp downstairs), didn't use the TVs. Nice walking right outside, easy drive for groceries (though the road is very dark at night). Check-in & check-out were easy. Only issue: it gets dark at 4:30 this time of year, and there are no street lamps - and the porch light didn't work. It was out of the control of the property managers, something about it being set to turn on at 9pm (makes sense in summer), but it wasn't turning on at all. The home has plentiful flashlights to use. Property managers were very responsive, and said they'd look into fixing that for future guests. This place is a piece of heaven. Missing it already!

Lovely Getaway!

It’s all in the name - Tranquility! One of thee best properties we have ever visited! The house was spotless! The management company made sure to provide plenty of useful communication as well as leave excellent instructions in the house for how to access WiFi and the smart TV. Inquiries to the management firm were answered quickly and completely. Really cozy and wonderful house - thank you!!

Wonderful Visit

We had a wonderful time at Tranquility Beach! It was a perfect location for our day trips, centrally located to reach the parts of the peninsula we wanted to explore and then was able to come back to this beautiful home with the wonderful view was perfect! The property manager was available and quick to respond to any questions we had, making for the perfect stay.

Beautiful House in Charming Neighborhood

The property has beautiful views upstairs and down. The quiet neighborhood is perfect for walking. It’s close to hiking and other sightseeing activities. The house was immaculate, and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The den has super comfortable couches and chairs for watching TV. We really liked this house!

Awesome View

The view and accessibility to the beach was awesome. House was comfortable and clean. Otters, eagles, seals, sea lions, and even saw 2-3 Orcas pass by in front the first day, was wonderful.

Great stay for varying ages and activity levels.

We had a lovely stay. The house was comfortable and had a great view right on the water. Perfect for using the paddle board I brought. It was a great home base for getting out and seeing the sights and a beautiful place to enjoy the sunset and wildlife on the water. I would definitely stay here again and my family members felt the same. For those with accessibility needs; there were 3-4 steps (no rail) to get in the front door, the main bedroom is upstairs with a shower that has a step to get into it (the downstairs has a regular tub/shower), there is one step onto the back porch which has ample railings, the water is accessed using large stair-stepped rocks, no railing - this was tricky for my family member with a cane. Also, the management was super responsive and helpful. I left an item behind and although it wasn't found they were easy to get ahold of (text) and did everything they could to try and locate it and kept me updated.

Perfect Place, Perfect Location

I was looking for a different experience other than staying in a hotel and I found it in the lovely beach house on North Diamond Shore Lane. The house itself was so comfortable and being right on the water was glorious. I spent most late afternoons on the deck with a glass of wine watching life drift by. The location was perfect for me in that I have a brother who lives in Port Townsend so it was an easy and beautiful 35 minute drive there and to pop into Sequim was maybe 20 minutes. The nearby hikes was out of this world. I highly recommend the Upper Dungeness River hike. It was forest bathing at it's premium.

Enjoyed our time

The home sits on the oceanfront and is spacious with comfortable sofas and beds. Telescope was fun to use. We saw seals, deer and an eagle just sitting in the living room drinking coffee.

Great Experience!!!

We arrived at the property after following the great directions provided! The house was perfect for our vacation. It was well appointed and in a great location near Port Townsend and Sequim. Near enough for a day trip to the rain forest trails, beautiful beaches and many small towns to explore!! We saw bald eagles black tail deer and a family of sea otters behind the house. Highly recommend this house.

Best VRBO ever

Most beautiful rental we have ever stayed in. The sunset views were amazing!! Literally every room of the house had a spectacular view of the water, mountains or both. The house has everything needed and was everything advertised and more. Very easy check in. Lots of eagles, sea lions, deer and a variety of birds from the patio. The beds were very comfortable. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. We will definately stay again.

Lovely view and comfortable

Comfortable house with a lovely view. The house could use a little TLC (e.g., had cupboard doors come off in our hands) and the bed and pillows in the upstairs room are like concrete-nothing that a cushy pillow top pad can’t fix. It’s a bit out of the way but some people might like that. We didn’t mind the drive to grocery stores and restaurants. Overall, it was a nice stay and good value for the money.

Lovely neighborhood and view, but a few maintenance items needed

We had a lovely time together at this home, and it has a fantastic view in a quiet neighborhood. However, there were several items we were unhappy about that will cause us to choose another location in the future. When we went to bed the first night, my sister sat on the side of the downstairs bed and-sank. The mattress is held by a series of wood slats which are too narrow to fit the bed frame, so if the mattress moves at all sideways, the slats slide off the frame. I spent ten minutes on the floor pushing them back up into place and we had to be careful about not sliding the mattress so we wouldn’t end up in a pile on one side of the bed when the slats slipped off the frame. The largest problem was when we stepped out onto the front deck to check out the beach. The door was clearly unlocked from the inside, and none of us took the key with us. Luckily I had brought my phone with me to take photos. When we tried to open the door from outside, the handle would not move to open the latch- it seems to be corroded in place. There is a sign on the upstairs balcony door warning of this, but both doors have this problem. This was when I had to call for assistance.They were responsive and polite, but I never should have had to call in the first place. There were a couple of other minor maintenance issues I don't have room here to detail coupled with these larger ones that will have us choose another location for our next trip. Hopefully these will be fixed for future visitors.

Tranquil Vacation

This tranquility beachfront home is amazing! My mom and I stayed for the weekend on her birthday and absolutely loved it. The house is exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the ocean views were stunning. We saw bald eagles daily, and sea lions swimming not far from the deck. We would love to stay again soon, and highly recommend this home to fellow travelers.

Sequim Stay

We found the house to be clean, well-stocked and very comfortable. Loved being right on the beach and being able to watch the boats and wildlife on the water from both the house and the spacious deck. The only problem we had was not being able to get hot water in the downstairs shower. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!
