This hard-to-find BEACHFRONT property is the one you’ve been looking for. Remodeled and redecorated in January 2019, this ground-level one bedroom condo offers a private bedroom, as well as an open kitchen, dining and living area that is great for spending time with loved ones. -Heated, saltwater swimming pool (heated to a max temp of 86 degrees in winter months) & hot tub
-Poolside loungers, tables, and chairs
-Laundry facility on site, $2 for washer and $2 for dryer (Quarter exchange at front office)
-Gazebo with gas grills. Due to our frequent droughts, high winds, & burn bans, NO other types of Bar-B-Q pits, grills, or outdoor cooking equipment are allowed on the premises including parking lots, balconies, or patios.

CLEAN BED PROMISE
-Padre Escapes promises to launder every comforter, every sheet, every TIME!
-After every stay we replace all towels & linens (including the comforter, which most people don’t do) with clean towels & linens from our 5500sf laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
-We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family’s arrival.

-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older. The guest must have a State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID.

Great first experience

My daughter is 1 and this was her first vacation experience. The check in process made everything super easy and the proximity to the beach made getting there super simple.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As always it is a pleasant stay at the beach. Your staff is very helpful and pleasant. They always take good care of the us as we have been coming there for a long time. The dishwasher in the unit was not working properly and they were not able to fix while we were there so we had to handwash all of the dishes while we were there. We always try to leave it clean when we leave. In the bathroom there was mildew on the crack behind the sink where the granite meets. The corners in the bathroom are very dirty, all the floors in the unit need a thorough cleaning. The sofa is wearing out as it sinks and makes it hard to get up. The dining room chairs made a loud noise when moved across the floor so we took the liberty and put some pads on them so they weren't so loud. The bed is very comfortable. Love the new fridge and the kitchen is well equipped.

However, there were a couple things I noticed with the condition of the property: no hot water, has tankless heater that tripped the breaker every time we attempted to use hot water. The hand towel holder fell off the wall, useless. I left a list of issues on the kitchen counter. Terrific beach access. Clean grounds, small shower to wash sand off prior to entering the condo. Nice porch, good view of beach and surrounding area. Comfy bed. Needs new coffee maker and shower head.

Loved the views

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The place was clean and had easy access to the beach. As others have said, the walls are pretty thin, you can hear the A/C units running outside from the master bedroom. We could really hear the neighbors upstairs also. We didn't realize this was on the public beach access the amount of people that packed the beach with vehicles and tents all weekend. There are signs posted that all canopies must be removed nightly, but that is clearly not enforced. Overall we did enjoy the condo but we probably would have had a better stay if we could have stayed during the weekdays were it wouldn't have been so busy.

Not as good as previous visits-a few issues made big difference

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have stayed in El Constante Unit 101 MANY times over last 20+ years, so obviously, we like the unit. But 3 frustrating issues with most recent stay: 1)Had no hot water-the repairman said the water heater in locked closet was off after a power outage. Then had to wait another 48 hours for full hot water to kick in. 2) Bed was replaced sometime in last couple years, and the mattress and added topper are super uncomfortable-way too soft, NO support. Had backaches the whole stay. 3) We are used to hearing people walking in unit above, because there is no insulation/sound-proofing, but this time the folks upstairs were running, stomping, slamming things on floor, no way to sleep through that. Called front desk and asked them to intervene, was told probably new guests moving in and excited kids. No change in noise level. Made our time a lot less restful and enjoyable

Looked like fruit flies & Unit 101 has a horrible smell in bathroom sink. Our stay was perfect except for those two mentioned! Unit 101 is decorated so nice! Another thing!!! Bring a good knife with you because the knives in both units are dull. Hard to slice a lime & units don’t have a nonstick pan. VIEWS & LOCATION THE BEST!!!

Salty Air For the Soul

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was lovely and just the right size for a getaway with my husband. It was comfortable and had almost everything you needed. With your front porch looking at the waves and the quiet even with the beach full of people was perfect for reading and having a glass of wine. Walk right on to the beach for a lovely walk up or down the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this condo anytime. In fact we are thinking of coming back in the fall if we have the time. The only recommmendation that I would have is stock coffee filters if possible. I know covid has changed so much so maybe that is not allowed and maybe at least one coffee sample for the pot on the first morning. Otherwise this location was ideal!
