Our Armitage Cabin is located in the Shotgun area of Island Park, Idaho and is just a short scenic drive to West Yellowstone, Mt. Enjoy the views of mountains and trees from one of the two covered decks. The cabin is located just minutes from the Island Park Reservoir and a short 15 minute drive to Henry's Lake State Park. Snowmobile or ATV right from the cabin to miles and miles of trails. This custom home, built in 2008, puts you right in the middle of some of the West's best fishing, boating, snow machining and much more!

This beautiful home features an open great room with a 2 story vaulted wall of windows, a cozy gas fireplace, and a large modern kitchen with custom cabinets and a big center island. Fully equipped open concept kitchen along with a great room for family gatherings. Just bring your favorite foods to prepare. Two generous size bedrooms with closets, a full bathroom and laundry/mudroom complete the main level. Plenty of room for family and friends to gather. Wildlife is abundant all over the Island Park area. Don't forget to bring your cameras.

For our Winter bookings - we do advise you bring an all wheel drive vehicle. We do our best to keep the roads and driveway clear, but winter weather in the Yellowstone Country can be unpredictable!

*Drinking Water Update- Armitage Cabin is part of a community shared well. This has undergone new management, new renovations and cleared of a boil order. The Department of Environmental Quality with the help of new management, will closely monitor water quality. To be cautious, we still advise bringing drinking water with you for your stay.

It’s a beautiful house, perfect to relax after a long day in Yellowstone. The hot tub is one of the best that we try. The beds were a comfortable. The only minor thing is that you can listen everything from everywhere and every room. But it’s ok (: We almost weren’t there during the day.

Family vacation

We enjoyed Yellowstone National Park. It is only about 30 miles from this house in Island Park. This beautiful three bedroom, two bathroom house worked out perfect for our family of four adults and two children. We did not spend much time in it due to the sight seeing we did.

This cabin had everything that was needed to make our stay enjoyable. There was enough room for the five of us to have our own space and enjoy this great property. The location was convenient to access riding horses, floating the river and just a few miles away to Yellowstone National Park, and the Play Mill Theater in West Yellowstone. Looking forward to returning again next year.

Island Park Gem

A group of 6 friends stayed at this VRBO. We used this as our base while visiting Yellowstone. It was about a 45 minute drive to the West entrance of the park. There was a gas station about 10 minutes away. A cute local bar with beer and wine right across the road. It was a little difficult to find a grocery store that had everything we needed (ended up grocery shopping in West Yellowstone MT), but there are several small grocery stores in town. The home itself was very nicely set up. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved being able to use the fire pit, propane grill, horse shoe game, and of course the hot tub. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect place for a reunion!

We had a small reunion with family friends and this was the perfect setting. The place was clean and comfortable, located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood in beautiful Island Park. Plenty of space for our kids to play outside and in. We enjoyed using the big grassy yard for playing games, BBQing on the grill, and roasting marshmallows at the firepit. We were very happy with our stay and would stay here again!

An awesome home for our annual family reunion while visiting Yellowstone national park . Very clean, beautiful , fully stocked cozy and spacious home . Apart from the 40 min drive to Yellowstone , I would rate this 5 star stay . We enjoyed the hot tub too.

You get what you get.

There was a broken waterline in the cabin we had reserved. So they moved us to a much smaller cabin, the maintenance man was very rude. Not enough room in the smaller cabin for our group. No offer of any refund or reimbursement for downgrading us.

We loved this property and would definitely stay here again. We had 8 adults and had plenty of room.

This cabin was beautiful and very clean. I'm very picky about cleanliness and this cabin was immaculate. We brought our own food and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The manager is very good about answering questions and making sure your stay is great! Thank you!

Gorgeous Cabin & Views

💗this! This cabin what is our home away from home. It was immaculate and contained everything we needed....From beds to barbecue grill, to horseshoes and puzzles-it’s just minutes away from Yellowstone and we even saw mama moose swimming nearby.

Armitage Cabin @ Island Park

We were very pleased with our accommodations. The cabin felt like a home, fully equipped with a renovated kitchen and supplies, bedrooms were comfortable and the entire house was very clean. The owner was responsive to questions and the trip was seemless. Only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because the grill is a bit slow to warm and the driveway to the house has way too many potholes. Also, the internet connection is very slow. I think the issues are very minor and I wish I could give a 4.5 star. Thank you for making our visit an exceptional one.

Clean, spacious comfort close to Yellowstone

It is about a 30 minute drive to Yellowstone but well worth it. We had six in our family and enjoyed getting to spread out and get a good nights rest each evening. The hot tub was an extra bonus given we were sore from long hikes and wonderful adventures in the park

We enjoyed our stay. However, the upstairs bathroom was clogged when we arrived and it took two day

Two days of a five day vacation to get the upstairs bathroom unclogged. With 10 people one bathroom was problematic.
