Time in rural Belgium

The location was ideal if you wished to experience the Belgian countryside. Sint-Laureins was a short walk/bike ride away as was Eede. In Eede there are nice restaurants and a good bike shop (if repairs are needed). You are 35-40 minutes drive to larger cities. Maldegem is a 15-minute drive with food stores nearby if your stay is extended. The space is nice and we clean. However, if you are 6 feet tall you'll have issues with the upstairs doorway and some of the hanging light fixtures downstairs. If you have difficulties with stairs, then you may want to seek other accommodations. Overall, the host was in communication the whole stay and ensured access to everything was available. I enjoyed my stay!

Peaceful country home accessible to so much of Belgium

A lovely home on a canal on a quiet, tree lined country road. So nice to return to after a busy day travelling. Easy drive to Bruges, Ghent and many charming small towns. A little longer drive, but also very easy day trips to historic Ypres, the coast and the Netherlands. A very friendly, welcoming and helpful host. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Heerlijke vakantie

Het mooie en gezellige huis met heerlijke tuin waren de ideale basis voor veel uiteenlopende uitstapjes van Brugge, Gent, tot Cadzand , De Haan etc. Veel fietstochten door verassend afwisselend landschap. Zeker een aanrader! Behulpzame gastheer, zelfs vanuit haar eigen vakantie was de gastvrouw ook bereikbaar. .behulpzaam

La jolie maison de Saskia

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, maison agréable, bien aménagée et joliment décorée, une hôtesse très accueillante. Très bonne situation, en bordure d'un ancien canal bordé d'arbres, nous avons circulé à vélo (balisage également pour les randonneurs et les cavaliers) le long des criques, des canaux, des côtes hollandaises, traversé de beaux villages et petites villes...

Schicke Ferienwohnung in flämischer Idylle

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichteten Ferienwohnung samt wunderschönem Garten sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und es mangelte uns an nichts. Der Standort ist gut geeignet für Ausflüge sowohl an die Küste als auch in die umliegenden Städte Brügge und Gent oder für Radtouren in der Umgebung. Saskia ist eine sympathische, aufgeschlossene und aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns über eine schöne gekühlte Flasche Wein, die schon für uns bereit stand und leckere selbstgemachte Marmelade sehr gefreut. Irritationen gab es lediglich wegen der Kaution in Höhe von 200,- €, die zu Beginn unseres Aufenthaltes verlangt wurde und die nicht Teil des über FeWo abgeschlossen Vertrages war.

De Blinker in Sint Lauriens

Eine vollständig eingerichtete Wohnung mit Liebe zum Detail. Saskia ist eine warmherzige Gastgeberin, die uns mit allerlei Leckerem aus ihrem Garten verwöhnte. Und auf die Tipps ihres Vaters André war wirklich Verlass. Herzlichen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Schöner Urlaub

Nettes Häuschen mit ein paar Mängeln

Das Haus ist wirklich toll eingerichtet, es erinnert an ein Cottage, jedoch sind die Esszimmerstühle und das Bett sehr sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Wir haben aufgrund dessen den Urlaub vorzeitig abgebrochen, weil wir starke Rückenschmerzen bekommen haben. Das Bett quietschte bei jedem Umdrehen und beim Aufstehen sind auch mal Latten rausgefallen. Die Stühle ähneln den Stühlen aus den 90ern. Sie sind sehr hart, wie Klassenzimmerstühle von früher. Ein Holzbrett auf Stahlbeinen. Wenn man doch länger im Haus ist, weil ggf. das Wetter nicht so mitspielt, ist es super unbequem darauf zu sitzen-aber sie passen ins Gesamtkonzept des Hauses, sind uns deshalb auf den Fotos auch nicht aufgefallen. Die Vermieter sind super nett, sehr hilfsbereit und waren auch „erschrocken“,dass wir schon so früh abreisen. Über das Bett haben wir sie informiert, das soll ggf. ausgetauscht werden. Die Gegend hatten wir eigentlich als sehr ruhig erwartet, was sie an sich auch ist, aber da man in Belgien wohl mit 70/80 km/h über Feldwege fahren darf, hat es sich angefühlt als seien wir an einer Rennstrecke. Direkt vor dem Haus ist eine Aspahltkante, wodurch es „knallt“ wenn die Autos drüber rasen. Ansonsten ist man schnell in Holland, das hat uns gut gefallen und für Ausflüge nach Brügge oder Gent ist die Lage auch toll- nur 30-45 Minuten entfernt. Alles in allem haben wir für uns das beste draus gemacht und hätten diese Dinge gerne schon vorher mal in den Kommentaren gelesen

Schönes Häuschen in toller Natur

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön.Allerdings wohnt die Vermieterin mit im Haus und der Garten ist für die Kinder nicht bespielbar. Sollte man wissen und wollen. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern eher nicht geeignet. Wenn man wie wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist kein Problem. Die Vermieterin Saskia ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Très agréable séjour

Grâce aux consignes de la propriétaire, le logement est très propre et très bien entretenu. La décoration est faite avec soin. Saskia est une personne charmante et discrète. La situation de cette location est idéale pour visiter Bruges, Gand et le sud des Pays-Bas. Je recommande vivement!!

Tolles Ferienobjekt - Top Lage

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut gelegen für Ausflüge an die schönen Strände in den Niederlanden und Belgien. Auch die kulturellen Highlights wie Brügge, Gent oder Antwerpen sind von hier aus gut erreichbar. Die Vermieterin Saskia ist sehr freunlich und hilfsbereits. Das Ferienhaus hat sie stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben sehr erholsame Urlaunstage in dieser Unterkunft verbracht.

Schönes Haus in idealer Lage

Sehr schönes, gemütliches und gut ausgestattetes Haus. Ideale Lage, um Städte wie Brugge, Gent, Middelburg und auch die Seebäder an der Küste zu erkunden. Wir hatten unsere Fahrräder dabei und waren begeistert von dem gut ausgebauten Radwegenetz direkt ab dem Ferienhaus. Saskia stand uns für Fragen immer zur Verfügung und hat uns wertvolle Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Region gegeben. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub!

Ein tolles Urlaubsziel!

Wir hatten eine sehr entspannte Ferienzeit in Saskias wunderschönem Haus. Viel Platz für uns und unsere zwei Jungs. Der Garten mit den vielen liebevoll gestalteten Ecken und Sitzplätzen wurde sehr gerne von uns genutzt. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Saskias Vater empfangen und mit Ausflugstips und Gemüse versorgt! Herzlichen Dank auch nochmal besonders für das tolle Abschiedsgeschenk der Kinder. Danke auch an den Sohn des Hauses, der uns jederzeit mit unseren Fragen weitergeholfen hat und so viel Geduld mit zwei kleinen lärmenden Jungs hatte :-) Wir können das Haus, die Lage und Belgien generell sehr als Urlaubsziel empfehlen!

De Blinker biedt rust en ruimte

De woning is heel comfortabel en sfeervol, vlakbij dat prachtige Leopoldkanaal. Heerlijk rustig. Ideaal als vertrekpunt voor fietsen in de omgeving. Saskia is een geweldige gastvrouw.

Entspannte Ferien

Sehr nettes, gemütliches Ferienhaus in idyllischer, ländlicher Lage, direkt am kleinen Kanal. Alles ist gut und schnell zu erreichen (Städte, Strände) und in Sint-Laureins kommt man zur Ruhe. Wir hatten eine freundliche, unkomplizierte Kommunikation per Mail mit der Vermieterin, die selber im Urlaub war. Vor Ort haben wir ihren überaus netten Vater kennengelernt, der zusätzlich zu hilfreichen Tips uns mit selbstangebauten Gemüse versorgt hat.
