A lovely stay in a beautiful village with a gorgeous pub directly opposite. The apartment was spotless, had comfortable beds and plenty of towels etc. The owner was great with any questions.
I cannot say how wonderful this little flat was. Perfect location for Shaldon and Torquay, adorable and friendly pub and inspirational village owned shop, super comfy beds with extra warm blankets and all we needed to cook. I put four stars for the listing only because it was so magical and beautiful much more than photos showed. Thank you for letting us bring an extra dog and perfect communication. ♥️♥️♥️
Comfortable, clean and cosy flat, supplied with everything you need for a lovely holiday, a great place to return to after a days excursion. Ideally located for visits to Dartmoor, Torquay, Brixham, Shaldon Teignmouth and all the South Hams area. Stokeinteinhead is a pretty village with a great Pub serving good reasonably priced food with plenty of variety for all tastes. I recommend the Otter beer if you re a beer drinker. Parking OK on narrow roads so typical of Devon. Five stars from us.
Rented this property over the Christmas period enabling us to visit family close by. The property is well stocked with all the little things and clearly well thought out by the owners. Location is excellent and recommend the local pub (opposite) and village shop below for all the essential requirements. We had an excellent stay and totally recommend this place for couples or small family.
The apartment was bright, quite spacious and very convenient (particularly being over the excellent village shop). Loved the Georgian windows. Parking was tricky in the narrow lanes of Stokeinteignhead, but we always found somewhere within 50m of the house. A great base to explore this quiet and pretty area of Devon.
The property was lovely it met all our expectations. It was light and airy but still had a quaint feel to it in a typical cottage way the floors a bit wibbly wobbly ☺️The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had everything all but a microwave.
The village was lovely and quiet, everybody was friendly. With a village pub a step across the road that does lovely food and a good selection of ales. The village shop located right underneath the apartment had all the bits you need that you had forgot while you were out. The shop times have changed to what is on the window but they usually open around 8.30am.
Parking was a bit of a pain,to find a space without blocking anyone’s driveway etc..but managed to park up the street all week.
The apartment,Stokeinteinhead and Devon were just the holiday break we needed as a family after a rubbish 2020 /2021.
I would highly recommend to anyone.
A lovely apartment above the village shop and ideal for a small family/3 people. Slightly quirky but well equipped and comfortable it was just perfect for us. Set in a lovely quiet village with stunning scenery and opposite the village pub that is excellent for food and a few drinks but doesn't intrude on enjoyment of the apartment. We will certainly be back!
We are worried about covid at the first moment and what we can find in the cottage, but for our surprise when we arrived we find a very clean cottage with all we need to have a nice holidays. We definitely raccomanded this. Village is very small but very very nice with all you need in just 10 minutes with car.

We live locally to our holiday let and enjoy walks with our jack russell and looking after our menagerie of 5 pygmy goats, 6 geese and 5 call ducks
Why they chose this property
We have lived in the village for over 20 years and we so enjoy the location so ideal for country walks or a trip to the beach.
What makes this property unique
Cornerside is quite unique being part of an old georgian style property, quirky things such as none of the floors, walls or ceilings being perfectly straight !
