The property has three bedrooms, a ground floor double with double bed and en-suite shower room, a double and a 4' double, sleeping five guests. There is also a family bathroom with shower over bath and an open-plan living/kitchen/dining room. Outside is a patio and lawned garden with built-in bench, furniture and views of the harbour. Through The Porthole is a fabulous base for a Falmouth holiday.

Amenities: Central heating. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, Smart TV, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Rear enclosed artificial lawn garden with built-in bench, furniture and a shed. One medium or two small dogs welcome, £20 charge for second dog. Sorry, no smoking. Roadside parking (permit provided) or public car park 500 metres, you can unload directly outside the cottage. Shop 0.3 miles, Pub 0.1 miles, Beach 1.2 miles.

The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the picturesque town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes). For nature lovers there is the Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and site of special scientific interest teeming with a variety of wildlife. Falmouth offers such a rich variety of landscape and attractions for people of all ages, it is sure to tempt you back time and again.

Beautiful peaceful home just minutes from Falmouth centre
This home was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean throughout. Incredible harbour views through the entire home and a very short walk to the buzz of Falmouth
