Cosy, modern ground floor flat in central Kirkwall
Bright and modern ground floor floor flat located in the heart of historic Kirkwall. Cafe's, shops, pubs and restaurants are no more than a few minutes walk from your front door.
This is a great base to explore Orkney especially for travellers without their own transport. It's located in a quiet part of central Kirkwall but only a few minutes walk from the impressive St Magnus Cathedral and very close to the tourist information and travel centre.

The apartment is clean and in a great location, close to restaurants, pubs, waterfront, shops, etc. The bed was fairly comfy and it had everything we needed. The only thing that would have made it better is a blow dryer and the shower temp being easier to adjust. We would recommend staying here.
If you just want somewhere to lay your head, this flat is ideal. It's very central - only 5 minutes from the town centre and 10 minutes from the harbour. It was sparkling clean, and the host we spoke to was lovely. Everything was basic but fine, although the flat doesn't get much daylight and it's noisy (we could hear the people in the upstairs flat using the loo!). Be sure to bring a pint of milk with you if you want a cuppa when you arrive! And please be warned: there is nowhere in Kirkwall to leave luggage for the period between leaving the flat and catching a late ferry - for folk catching the Aberdeen ferry, that might be over 12 hours.
Ideal small-short-stay flat on the edge of historic Kirkwall
Very comfortable and very clean little flat at the far end of Victoria Street. Ideally placed for exploring Kirkwall and for an easy exit from town to the rest of Mainland Orkney. Facilities close by and flat well equipped for self-catering.
The apartment was small but had all we needed. It was very well situated, near the centre of Kirkwall not far from the main street and cathedral. There was parking nearby.
This street level flat was perfect for our stay in Kirkwall. It is close to co-ops, restaurants, shops & St. Magnus cathedral. The hosts were prompt, helpful, & friendly. We highly recommend it!
We enjoyed staying here. It’s in an historic neighborhood really convenient to downtown Kirkwall. An interesting grocery/hardware store and a useful convenience store are right nearby. The apartment is well laid out and nicely supplied. Perfect for two people. There’s ample storage space, too. Communication with the owners was good. We’d definitely stay there again!
This small flat was ideal for a short stay on Orkney. The accommodation is fine for two people and (free) parking was available very close by. It's basically at the end of the main tourist street on Kirkwall and handy for museums, cathedral etc. The property managers

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I found difficult was closing the key box!
I would also like to let you know that there was no hot water. It wasn't really a problem for us as the shower was electric and I just boiled the kettle for the dishes. The location is perfect with parking close by. I will definitely recommend you to anyone thinking to visit Orkney.
