Spacious 1- bedroom apartment sleeps 4 in vintage home built in 1875, in beautiful Historic Downtown Golden, Colorado. This apartment has its own entrance. It is bright, sunny and very clean. Master bedroom has a queen size bed with pillow top, full bathroom with shower and bathtub, full kitchen, Smart TV's with Direct TV in living room and bedroom, DVD player in living room, WiFi and cable included. Comfortable queen sleeper sofa with extra thick memory foam mattress sleeps two. Sun room to sit in and enjoy a good book. Enclosed patio includes swing, dining set, and gas propane grill which will be kept full by the owner. Within 2 blocks walking distance from Historic Downtown Golden, close to restaurants, parks, breweries, theater, Coors and Colorado School of Mines. Across the street from Clear Creek where you can kayak or tube on those warm Golden days or walk the trails. You will be able to day trip and ski as a resort is only an hour away. Close to all other ski resorts and Red Rocks Amphitheater. Catch the RTD light rail to downtown Denver 15 minutes away to the Rockies, Broncos, Avalanche, Outlaws games, the Theater or the night life. Enjoy a nightcap or a morning coffee under the Colorado sky while planning your new adventure for the day!

Awesome place close to downtown!!

This property is safe,clean and close to down town. Location is great for traveling to all the hot spots in the area. Owner of property is on site and a very is informative. Tons of cooking supplies, great little private patio for grilling and hanging out! Thanks Betty, we will be back!!

Home away from home

This was our third time staying in one of Betty's units, and it didn't disappoint. We regularly visit Golden to see family, and her place is located just a block from the creek and a few more from downtown. The kitchen is MUCH better stocked than just about any rental we've ever had, with everything from spices to coffee/tea, and even an air fryer! Bedroom sheets are super soft and the bed is comfy. Plus there's space for some remote work-from-home if needed at the kitchen table.We will definitely be back!

Perfect location

We were visiting family in Golden. This was a perfect location to walk downtown or along Clear Creek. The town is quiet at night so had no issues with traffic or parking. We will stay here again.

Wonderful!

Very clean, well appointed and cozy apartment which presented as listed. Fabulous location within walking distance to downtown Golden restaurants and shopping. Easy access to beautiful paved walking trails along Clear Creek. We loved this little place! Thank you, Betty.

I can’t express how much this place added to the quality of our trip to Golden! It was neat when we showed up and all the check-in instructions were straight forward. Betty, the host, was very communicative and extremely nice. This spot is also perfectly situation with walking access to everything and anything you could want to do in Golden!

Perfect place

The apartment was perfect. We were able to walk just about everywhere in Golden. The apartment was very clean with everything we needed. Lovely Historic Apartment

Very easy check in and greeted by owner and collected parking permit. Fully equipped, good AC, easy parking. Very comfortable for 2 adults. Didn’t have time to take advantage of patio and grill. Quiet neighborhood. Close to everything in town for walking. Easy to our Red Rocks events and hiking excursions. Will stay again.

Excellent central location in Golden

We had a great stay in Golden, and really enjoyed our stay. The location was extremely convenient, right across from the visitors center and close to many restaurants. The property was very comfortable, and Betty was a great host!

Great place!

We love this little apartment and have stayed there several times. The location is wonderful! The Clear Creek trail is close by and the town of Golden. Especially fun in the winter with all the Christmas lights in Golden. A blast in the summer with tubing in the creek, running/walking and cycling on the paved trails! Lots of hikes nearby too! House is clean and cute! All time favorite of our's!

The unit was exactly as advertised and you could not ask for a better location to explore downtown Golden. Betty was very pleasant and responsive, accomodating a last minute request for an early check in. She met me at the door and personally gave me a tour. Highly recommend.

Fantastic home away from home

The space was well kept and perfect for our extended weekend get away. Betty was available to answer any questions and definitely knows how to make her guests comfortable. Very close walking distance to the main areas of Golden. Would absolutely recommend this for a couple looking for a quiet retreat.

Beautiful apartment in great location

This apartment was the perfect location and jump off point for all of our Denver area activities. It’s an adorable apartment within walking distance to all activities in Golden. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town. Betty was friendly and gracious, but some guests may prefer contactless check-in.

I grew up in Golden and raised my children here as well. I love our little city. Have worked in Golden and surrounding areas. Have volunteered at the Chamber and Visitors Center, Golden Fine Arts Festival for 8 years, and on the Golden Liquor board for 4 years. I am available to answer any questions and be of help when you need it.

Why they chose this property

I love this old Victorian home of mine and being in the heart of downtown Golden. That is why I have been here for 30 years. I love meeting all the guests that come to stay here. There is something going on all the time in Golden. It is nice to have Clear Creek across the street and Red Rocks 10 minutes away. I have many great memories of the concerts there. This a a great place to stay and make day trips to Skiing and Snowboarding as it is 30 minutes away. Denver sites and sporting events are 10 minutes away. This is the perfect place to be.

I fell in love with my home as it has so much character!
One of the first houses in Golden. It is the great touches to when it was built in 1875. I like that it is unique and comfortable.
