You’ll never be at a loss for something to see and do in the Forest of Dean. With the natural environment, fascinating history and heritage, an array of attractions and activities are to be had here. For cycling enthusiasts the cycle trail is just 5 minutes from Forest Walk. There are an array of activities and days out to be had, such as Symonds Yat rock, Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves, and Coleford has its own Great Western Railway Museum. The cottage provides the perfect location for visitors with pets. The River Severn, 4 miles, Dean Heritage Centre, Dean Forest Railway and Tintern Abbey are all nearby. There is good fishing, RSPB reserves, riding, golf, tennis and excellent walking and cycling opportunities locally. Ross-on-Wye, Chepstow, Monmouth and the cathedral cities of Gloucester and Hereford are within easy driving distance.
The property consists of a living room with a Smart TV with patio doors leading to the enclosed garden, an open plan kitchen and dining area with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. To the first floor is the master bedroom with en-suite shower room, a further double room and a bunk bed room, plus a family bathroom with bath and shower over. There is parking for two cars and storage for your bikes. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant ⅓ mile.
