About this property

Five Bedroom all ensuite house in a secure and serene neighborhood

This is a five bedroom all en-suite vocational rental located in a serene quiet, peaceful and secure gated neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the city in the leafy suburbs of Karen, Nairobi. The house is on a 5.6-hectare piece of land and has a dense cover of mature trees, shrubs and a nature trail that leads down to a slow-moving stream. The house is equipped with necessary amenities such as a dining area, living room, five en-suite bedrooms, kitchen, balcony, playground and a lawn. One of the bedrooms is detached from the other four and is only accessible through the living room. The house is good for nature lovers, couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families and is available for short and long stays. We have a dining area and a well equipped kitchen for self-catering (you can prepare own meals) or use our professional in-house chef at a small fee. The five rooms – Care, Comfort, Content, Co-existence and Natural are themed on the five animal freedoms.
The home provides a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. Nestled in a pristine, native forest, intentionally preserved as it naturally existed before development.
We have two friendly dogs and three cats that live within the compound. Our chef and housekeeper also live within the compound and are available when you need them.

Property is not open for business

The property is not open for use but VRBO still has it on thier site. It was a huge inconvenience to go there with children and have to find another place to stay since they have not been open since Covid period

Absolutely Lovely

Lovely in every way. Kifaru will be a place we stay again and again. Wonderful location, beautiful property, lovely home. The staff is so welcoming. Moses the groundskeeper is just one of the best. Fred is an amazing cook. We were a larger group so were able to purchase food and he cooked it for us. Kaka and Rosie the dogs are just the best to have around. Kifaru is a gem!
