About this property

Unique Bed & Breakfast with stunning views

We have 3 delightfully appointed bedrooms with amazing views of the Black Mountains. With a bit of notice (and extra cost) we can offer the barn for your group’s sole use with the Aga, dishwasher and washing machine. If you wish to use a kitchen during your stay please request to book the barn, We are a working farm and cannot offer our kitchen after you have finished breakfast.

Direct access on to the common brilliant for walking, cycling and riding. Quick links to A470 with easy access to Brecon, Talgarth, Crickhowell & Hay.

The space
The main guest bedroom has a king size comfortable ViSpring bed with views out South-Easterly towards the Black Mountains and also overlooks the farmyard. This room has an additional single bed with a trundle single bed which can be made up for extra guests. There is also room for a travel cot.

The smaller guest room has a 4ft antique bateau lit (mattress is 6 x 4 ft) with views south-easterly to the Black Mountains.

These 2 rooms share a wonderfully newly renovated family bathroom. This has an indulgent large bath and a walk in rain shower.

There is a further double room that can be booked for an additional £90, in combination with the two above (please give as much notice if you would like to book this). It has a beautiful king size iron bed and also has views out towards the Black Mountains. This room has a new en-suite shower room.

Towels & bathrobes are provided.

Please note that the nightly price for the first 2 guests is on the assumption that they will be sharing the family guest room and the family bathroom.

Guest access
Your access to the bedrooms will be using the front door and south facing terrace with your own staircase.

You are welcome to meander around the garden, farm and woods.

We also now offer 2 bell tents at the top of our wood which can be booked separately or alongside our bed and breakfast rooms.

Other things to note
We want you to feel confident that you can come and enjoy the freedom this little bit of paradise. Please do get in touch if you have any questions about anything.

Oasis of beauty.

Situated at the end of a quiet lane with breath taking views of the countryside and the Black Mountains beyond, we were met by our wonderful host Sophie who welcomed us to her lovely home. Private entrance to the house, with everything you could possibly need, thoughtfully delivered to provide a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and the best I have had in some time. Sophie was knowledgable and super helpful, and lovely to get to know. Totally recommend staying.

What a lovely holiday, our first after lockdown, we enjoyed every minute of it.

We cannot recommend Sophie Price enough, always going the extra mile for us during our stay. All the tips and recommendations of what to see and do were exceptional. What a beautiful place to stay and relax and enjoy the scenery. The Cottage as beautiful, clean and everything we needed. The added bonus of the lovely barn was amazing!! Table tennis, pool table and fuse ball, the space is amazing. First time cooking on an agar was fun! We will surely be returning to enjoy another stay. Warren and Jackie Dixie
