A wonderful Devon escape

We had a fantastic short break at Broad path and will definitely be back; The chalet was spotless and had everything you could want or need for a luxurious relaxing break. Easy access to miles of country lines with the opportunity for our dog to run for miles. We ate at the Duke Dive in Braunton which is a must. We had relaxed breakfasts on the decking in the sun and spent the evenings relaxing in the hot tub, especially after cycling the Tarka trail for miles. A lovely escape, fab hospitality and are already planning our next visit.

Perfect!

This was our 2nd stay at Broadpath, and again it won't be our last. Ourselves and our little Whippet love it here. Very secure garden, all the cooking facilities and utensils you need. Most comfortable bed and lovely bedding. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Fab beaches just short drives away, great roads to travel around too. Braunton Burrows also a must and great for dogs. Undercover hot tub so can still be enjoyed in the rain. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful week in Devon

We had an amazing 4 night stay in the broadpath chalet. The place was immaculate, modern and a great location to both saunton sands, woolacombe and ilfracombe beaches. A 10 min walk to the town centre too. The chalet itself was beautiful, the hot tub was perfect after a day out and is furnished to a high standard. Have already been recommending it to friends and family and would definitely return.

Broadpath, Great Field Lodges

We have recently stayed in the Broadpath Lodge and we couldn’t recommend it enough, the facilities in the lodge was amazing, and we loved the decoration throughout as well as the hot tub! The location of the lodge was also perfect as we could take about a 10 minute walk to the local pubs and restaurants, meaning no need for taxi’s etc. Sarah was also really friendly and the prosecco, flowers and biscuits left for us was a really nice touch, overall loved our stay!

Comfortable and relaxing

Broadpath is very clean and comfortable with everything you need. The small drying room is useful for drying off cosies after using the hot tub or waterproofs/ boots when it rains. It’s ideally situated to explore north Devon and its proximity to Braunton is good for restaurants and for getting about by bus. We have stayed there several times and I’m sure this won’t have been the last.

Broadpath

Our stay at broadpath was unreal. Very clean house and well equipped for anything you would do at home with a packed out kitchen. Stayed during winter with no heating needed as is very well insulated and toasty without. Again very clean and well kept hot tub with shelter. Beaches are near by as well as lots of restaurants. Spot on place to stay at whether it’s short or long stay. Will definitely be returning.

Served a purpose

Okay for short stay, garden area needs tidying up, would be better to have standard fridge freezer as below counter fridge and ice box useless. Certainly good to be warm, lucky we weren’t getting hot weather of inside would have been unbearable. Overall okay for 4-5 days but wouldn’t stay longer and would not stay again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This was such a lovely place to stay. It was a perfect location, we wanted something away from busy areas but activities close by. We had just that! We were away from everything but it was a 5-10 minute drive to the town, a 20 minute drive to a beach which had a small arcade, a mini golf course where the staff were lovely and a good selection of little shops and places to eat. The lodge that we stayed in was a perfect size, had everything you could want and your not too close to other lodges. The owners was very friendly and helped us out more then we could have asked for. With the location, the lodge itself and the friendly owners we had an amazing and relaxing experience! And a little tip, stay at the lodge near fire works night. There was a beautiful area down the road where they had one of the best fire works display we have seen! 10/10! Xx

Lovely little lodge

The lodge was lovely if a little close to the road. The only windows in the bedroom that opened in the bedroom were small and on the road side so traffic noise can be a bit of an issue in bed if you're a light sleeper. The drawers in the bedroom were tiny and even folded eg shirts ended up being a bit squashed. It would benefit from an ice tray in the freezer compartment. Fridge door doesn't shut properly so ice builds up at back of fridge and water drips from freezer compartment. Besides that we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The patio area was large enough to move table/chairs around to be in/out of the sun. Beautiful bathroom. Comfortable bed. Pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Accommodation is excellent and high quality- a fantastic base to explore North Devon.

The whole process was simple - and the accommodation was as described. This was our first time in North Devon, and whilst the lodge itself was in a private and secluded orchard, it did require a car to get around, and Braunton Town was not the prettiest or easiest to travel through. Would certainly stop again if we return back to North Devon.

Beautiful lodges

Outstanding lodges. Clean, spacious, comfortable and everything you could need catered for. The garden could have a bit of a cut back with the overgrown bushes and my only criticism would be, not enough fresh air ventilation in the bedroom, as the patio doors don’t open, so you only have two little windows to open on one side so no air flow through that room and when it’s hot I found it too stuffy even with the fan that they supplied on But that is my only criticism of the lodge . Great location, with a lovely beach just over a mile up the road, however, note if you want to go anywhere the other direction going through Braunton, it is such a busy route to get through which seems the only road out and sometimes I was sitting for 20 mins of traffic just to get through that area which is only about a mile long.
