About this property

Lovely Jemima’s cottage is full of character, lots of beams ! Comfortable cosy living room with fireplace , but an electric fire, and original bread oven , and a well equipped kitchen . The cottage used to be the bakery for the farm and provide accommodation for farm workers. Spacious main bedroom that also has en suite facilities. There is a comfortable small second bedroom and a further two bathrooms, one on the ground floor . There is a terrace and pretty garden , gas barbecue and table and chairs. The village has a pub within walking distance . Ample private parking for two cars

Lovely cottage

Had a lovely relaxing week in this beautiful cozy cottage. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and had left some homemade cakes and marmalade which was a lovely touch. Our dog loved playing in the garden and the cottage was well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. I would recommend staying here.

Jemimas Cottage.

A lovely Homely Cottage that is family owned with much thought put into it. It is furnished to suit the cottage and create a relaxing feeling so you can enjoy your break from the very start. Very comfy beds and the use of an enclosed field added to the overall suitability for our family and pets.It is so well equipped with cleaning materials and those things you forget to pack !

Excellent!

Due to road closure we were much later arriving then anticipated (about 4hrs) but it wasn't an issue and they gave us milk as all the shops were shut, clean , lovely presentation, exactly as described. Cathy and Philip were the best hosts and Philip even mended by glasses for me,thank you!

Fabulous

What a lovely cottage with every thing you would need Wonderful touches like home make cakes and preserves . The beds were soooo comfortable and the bedding top notch They even put Christmas decorations up for us , making a cosy Christmas experience . even a field was available to take the dog . A 5 stars can’t recommend enough Thank you I will be back 👍

Lovely place to stay

Exactly as described. Catherine and Phillip lovely,friendly and helpful hosts. Jemima's Cottage has everything you would need in a great location for exploring Shropshire. Ample easy parking and the garden was safe and secure, great for our 2 dogs.

Beautiful Cottage

What a beautiful Cottage which was fully equipped like home from home. We were made very welcome and Catherine and Philip were perfect hosts and very friendly. Such a pretty garden too. We highly recommend Jemima's Cottage.

Lovely cottage with great bedroom, pretty garden.

We really enjoyed our stay, Jemima's cottage is a lovely place to stay with our dog. Very welcoming and we enjoyed the cakes and home made marmalade. The only disappointment was that the village pub wasn't open on Mondays and Tuesdays and we were looking forward to eating there both nights.!

What a lovely cottage

What a great place to stay, thank you Cathy and Phillip. The cottage was very comfortable with plenty of space and a lovely enclosed garden. The hosts were very helpful and friendly leaving us homemade marmalade and a delicious lemon drizzle cake, perfect with a cup of tea on arrival. We had a lovely relaxing stay here with plenty to do in the area, lots of nature reserves and walks nearby. Oswestry and Welshpool are within a short drive and we had a longer day out to Lake Vyrnwy which was beautiful. A great place to stay in a lovely area.

Jemima's Cottage

Lovely cottage, very cosy and quiet. Had everything we needed and a lovely welcoming cake. Cathy and Phillip the cottage owners were very friendly and charming. There are are lots of things to do with in easy distance, would definitely stay there again. Looking forward to staying again next year.

A chocolate box cottage

A beautiful cottage with many original features lovingly incorporated into the comfortable, very well equipt accommodation. Making this a dream stay and peaceful haven. The garden too, offers all you look for in an escape to the country. The hosts are on hand if needed but leave you to your own devices. So you feel in your own ideal. Relaxing short break

Just returned from a short break at Jemima's Cottage, it lived up to all our expectations , lovely location and very friendly helpful owners. The cottage was spotless with many thoughtful extras, a delicious lemon cake , homemade marmalade, scented candle, complementary toiletries. Location wise there are plenty of excellent places to eat nearby (Dickin Arms at Loppington and The Red Lion at Myddle being our favourites) and the cottage is within easy driving distance of Shrewsbury,, Ellesmere and Oswestry, all of which are lovely, One last thing, the bed was fabulously comfortable .
