Summary:
Located in the heart of Whitby on the popular Flowergate, this sophisticated duplex apartment is close to everything the seaside town has to offer. Shops, pubs, cafes and the famous Whitby Abbey are located within a short stroll. Ideal for couple retreats, family getaways and staycations with friends, Henderson House is a lovely spot on the coast to rest your head.

The Space:
Spread across four floors, Henderson House is a unique apartment. On the first floor, you’ll find the kitchen. With pale green cladded walls, beamed ceilings and an original fireplace, the kitchen has a country cottage feel. Traditional in style, it has wooden cabinets and high shine, black worktops. It is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, kettle and microwave so you’ll be able to enjoy home cooked meals during your stay.

The dining room is located on the second floor. This quirky space includes sloped ceilings, a skylight window and a rustic colourful dining table with industrial metal chairs. There is also a vintage dresser which fits in perfectly with this characterful room.

Head upstairs again to the third floor and you’ll find the living room and the bathroom. The living room is welcoming and homely. With pale green coloured walls and a statement white fireplace, there is an ambient and relaxing feel to the space. Ideal for relaxing, the room is complete with a blue velvet sofa and a matching armchair. Turn on the flat screen TV and watch your favourite shows with your loved ones.

The bathroom is clean and stylish. Crisp white walls are complemented with dove grey cladding and there is a traditional freestanding bathtub. The space is complete with a WC and Victorian style basin.

On the fourth floor there are two bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king size bed with a light grey headboard and premium bedding. Packed with charm, there are matching white bedside tables and nautical cushions.

The second bedroom has two single beds. Ideal for children, teenagers and friends, this twin room has a light colour scheme to create a tranquil feel. White wooden furniture and checked blinds add to the cottage style of the property.

Ok but not Amazing
Very nice apartment although not super clean which is surprising as we were requested to clean all surfaces before we left! Right on Flowergate which was convenient for all the sights etc but unfortunately quite a lot of anti social behaviour around the area- lots of noise at night and it looked like young men drug dealing in a nearby alley- I realise this can happen anywhere it just took the sheen off our stay!
