About this property

Detached house with a large garden and a huge pool

It is a very pretty house, adorned with slate stone, and with a fenced garden of 2000 m2 . Inside the property there is a swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests (also fenced for safety), a huge pool for a detached house, with 140 m3 (140.000 liters) of water. The pool contains slightly salty water to improve the well-being of bathers (saline chlorination) as well as night lighting. In the garden, there is barbecue, a picnic area, a large trampoline for children, a two-story wooden house for the children, a ping pong, a fireplace and arenal to play. It is a house perfectly suited to enjoy the holidays, with everything that a family may need for several days.
The house has a large hall, with a sofa and a zone with toys for children (that can be used). A large smart Led TV connected to internet is available. A door opens to the sleeping area, with two double bedrooms, and two rooms with beds (one with two and another with three beds). Likewise, there is a sink with shower, and a small room to comb or shave, with a water spike. To finish, the ground floor has a garage, with a washing machine, a drier, an auxiliary refrigerator, a table football and space for bicycles or motorcycles.
The second floor is accessed by a staircase, where there is a large living/dining room, with a table and a large sofa to relax or watch TV. Around the entire living room, and outwardly, there is a flowered balcony that surrounds the whole house. On this balcony there is a table for breakfast or dinner outside. From this balcony, the landscape is very beautiful, with the pool on one side, and a mountain with green trees on the other. In a room attached to the dining room, there is the kitchen, which has a dishwasher and refrigerator.
The house is located in an area with secluded houses, in a quiet street near the main road. There is a bar and restaurant within 200 m. Concurrently, there is a sports court that can be used (with goals and baskets). It is a very quiet area, where the most noise may be the hens, donkeys or pets.
The landscape is very beautiful, whit a very varied flora and fauna, with fountains and abundant streams. The garden is also green and cared for, with shaded areas and shrubs and flowering plants.

We loved our time in Xavier's house. The house and garden are very spacious, the pool enormous and wonderfull. The area is beautiful and quiet. Xavier made us feel welcome at our arrival and made the house feel "ours" for our stay.

Amazing garden and pool with great facilities for kids, teenagers and adults alike. A little inconvenient with one bathroom for 7 people but that is clearly stated in description. Xavier, the owner, very helpful and responsive, provided everything we needed and more.

Nous avons passe un magnifique sejour chez Xavier. Tout etait tres bien. La maison est tres bien situee pour la visite de la Catalogne, village Sant Gregori a 10km pour les courses, pharmacie, resto.Tres bon accueil et reactivite de Xavier.La maison est tres confortable et au calme.Les seuls commentaires un peu negatifs et notes dans d autres avis est le bruit de la pompe de la piscine ainsi que la salle de bain assez etroite pour une famille.(Xavier y est attentif et semble vouloir y apporter les solutions adequates)Un plus serait un acces direct de la terrasse vers le jardin/piscine.Merci a Xavier pour ce magnifique sejour !

Tolles Haus in toller Lage
Leider hatten wir viel Pech mit dem Wetter, so dass wir den großen Garten und den riesigen Pool nicht so nutzen konnten wie gewollt. Im Haus ist alles reichlich vorhanden, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Das Bad wäre für mehrere Personen zu klein, da wir aber nur zu zweit waren, passte das für uns. Der Kontakt mit Xavier ist angenehm und unkompliziert. Die Gegend ist ruhig und schön.

Un très beau sejour, le cadre est sympa, la piscine somptueuse. Par contre c'est assez bruyant a cause d'un chien qui hurle a la nuit, du terrain de foot et de la pompe de la piscine que l'on entend dans toute la mauson. A recommandé si le bruit ne vous dérange pas trop

Wunderschönes Haus in absoluter Ruhe
Ein Haus mit allem was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht, sehr ruhig gelegen. Ein Auto ist erforderlich da die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im nächste Ort sind. Bestens ausgestattet sowohl in der Küche wie auch im Rest des Hauses alles vorhanden. Sehr viele Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten für alle Mitreisenden ( Spielzeug, Tischtennis, Bogenschiessen.....) Ein Traum ist auch der große Pool und der wunderschöne Garten. Lediglich das kleine Bad könnte bei einer größeren Gruppe zur Herausforderung werden aber für uns (drei Personen) war das kein Problem. Xavier, der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und bei Fragen immer erreichbar. Wir haben dort eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht und kommen gerne wieder.

Grande maison et superbe jardin
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette belle maison où tout est pensé pour que l'on passe de bonnes vacances Le jardin avec sa belle piscine et tous ses équipements a fait l'unanimité. Les petits ont particulièrement apprécié le trampoline et la cabane en bois Notre hôte était facilement joignable et très réactif ! Le petit plus : les draps, serviettes de toilette et serviettes de piscine fournis évitent des bagages supplémentaires !!! Nous reviendrons certainement !!!!

Avec son grand jardin et beaucoup d’espace sans oublier la grande piscine et les jeux à l’extérieur, mes enfants ont trouvé l’endroit idéal pour passer des bons moments, ainsi que les grands. Petit village charmant et calme. Restaurant du village excellent avec un accueil chaleureux et agréable. La villa très confortable, piscine fantastique et jardin magnifique. We are a family with five children. I have a wide knowledge of the country, the best tourist places in the area. I speak Catalan, Spanish, English and understands French. I like gardening as a hobby as well as hiking.

Why they chose this property

My father built the house in 1975 (and later rehabilitated) and it was the summer house of the family, where we spent the summer. As it is 15 minutes drive from the capital (Girona), it meant being able to enjoy a superb landscape next to the main city of the area.

What makes this property unique

The main attraction of the house is the swimming pool, which can accommodate a simultaneous bath of up to 25 or 30 people. The house has a balcony where you can enjoy the leafy landscape of the area. The layout of the different rooms of the house is very practical and functional. The house, with the garden and swimming pool, can be used for several days to enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay, or at the same time can be used as a starting point to visit and visit the northern area of Catalonia (Figueras, Girona, Barcelona, Garrotxa, Empordà ....), it is a 10-minute drive from the A-7 motorway.
