The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. We had a warm and cosy stay with absolutely everything that we needed. We loved eating outside and watching the sheep. The firepit was wonderful. There is so much to do in the local area as well. Peter had great communication and was very warm and welcoming during our stay. We can't wait to return!

It was exactly what we needed, to be able to switch off and relax.
The Cabin is beautiful. Really well equipped and cozy. I loved every minute of my peaceful long weekend. Wonderful communications from Peter. I will certainly return.
Cedarwood is a beautiful cabin in a very quiet area in the countryside. It is the perfect place to go to reconnect with nature and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Had a lovely time here. Peace and quiet, and everything catered for. Perfect.
Cedarwood is a compact secluded cabin in a lovely setting, with all the comforts of home needed for a comfortable stay. The little log burner soon warms the cabin up on chilly evenings.
Warm, cosy & fun with fire. Great to be back, this time really enjoyed a wine tasting at Charles Palmer Vineyard. Peter & Karen always make you welcome.
We were looking to relax for a couple of days and this is a perfect location to do just that! The accommodation is small but perfectly formed and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. It is set in it's own little woodland glade with lovely countryside all about and the fire pit was super for those slightly chilly evenings. We were blessed with sunny days too so all in all a real treat!
Absolutely wonderful place to spend a few days. Beautiful area and landscape with anything you might need around. The cabin was very clean, refurbished shower room, kitchen with a little oven, microwave, double hob, toaster and kettle. The little burner makes the place cosy, relaxing and really warm. Thank you Peter as well for all the information about what to do, to visit around and kindness.
Warmly welcomed by Peter, who is happy to advise on local walks, pubs and the area. The cabin is comfortable and well thought out… we switched off, recharged and will return! Thank you.
Very welcoming hosts, great location, fresh eggs from onsite hens, bunnies hopping in the morning, what joy.
Had real fun cooking on the fire pit, looking up recipes & taking required ingredients beforehand.
Loved Winchelsea & Rye. Re-booking for February to try out the log burner. Previous guest reviews clearly show many guests returning for multiple visits, not surprised, we are joining the club.
Thank you for another fantastic stay!
Everything was perfect, cosy and relaxing. Made use of the BBQ this time, and were lucky with the weather. Able to eat out on the porch, watching the rabbits and birds. Had a few cosy nights in watching movies on Netflix. Lovely picturesque village to have a walk.
Peter is a great host, and showed us the other property we could rent out next time (which has a pool & hot tub!)
Hopefully we will be back again later in the year.
What a lovely 3 days. The cabin is small but perfectly formed. The space is used brilliantly and there is everything anyone could need for a short break including toasting forks for the fire. The skylight above the bed is a nice touch for stargazing and the swingseat is perfectly positioned for a sundowner before an evening bonfire.
Peter is the perfect host, communication before, during and after our stay was faultless. And he is a very nice guy with an abundance of suggestions for daytrips etc. Hope to be back!
We stayed for 4 nights - the cabin is rustic, but warm, comfortable with very good use of space. There is a decent bathroom and the kitchen is very well equipped.
The setting is beautiful - situated in a small copse. When we were there it was surrounded by daffodils and bluebells, which were very pretty. Parking is just a short distance away and there is an illuminated path to the cabin itself. We made good use of the fire pit outside. The cabin is compact, so storage is a little limited - but manageable for a few days. The bed area could do with a small shelf for glasses / phone etc on both sides of the bed, instead of just one, as we kept losing glasses down the far side . Peter, the owner was very good at communicating with us prior to our arrival and extremely helpful during our stay. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
Dispite the storms the cabin was so warm and cosy, Peter and karen made it a perfect stay for our 14th anniversary leaving us a bottle of prosecco and a card, thank you very much we have already rebooked😁
We had a lovely relaxing stay at the cabin. It was very clean, had everything we needed and was close to the local sightseeing spots. We would both highly recommend a visit.
Peter was a great host, very informative.
A perfect stay for 2 at Cedarwood cabin in the woods. Everything we needed was provided and excellent facilities for us to cook lovely meals. It was so peaceful and relaxing to stay here. We would love to stay again! The hosts Peter and Karen were great with there communication before, during and after. Thank you very much!
A beautiful, compact cabin a world away from urban life. No light pollution, just the sound of nature and a view for miles! Toilet paper, washing up liquid, towels and bedding provided - you only need to bring food! The verandah is the perfect spot for beautiful sunrises and the fire pit area is ideal for sunset bathing. Location wise- Rye, Winchelsea, Camber and Dungeness are all nearby and so much to see!!!! We will be back!
Very favourable experience from start to finish. Beautiful cabin, well equipped in lovely surroundings. We received a warm welcome from our hosts who were happy to give tips on local places of interest and even let us use the pool which was not included in our booking! Highly recommend as somewhere to unwind and recharge.
