Immaculate accomodation in a magic village just away fromthe tourist magnets to get the real flavour of the area.
Short drives to a lot of the listed spots and even shorter to some of the undiscovered Cotswolds.
3 pubs within 300mts , good food and friendly
The property is nicely located in the center of town
1 minute to shops 5 minutes to 3 pubs
It is right on the main road, but that is village living, embrace it.
Road noise minimal at night
Olde world luxury abounds in this delightful cottage in a beautiful little Cotswolds village. Everything has been thought of by the owners to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Two pubs, and a shop within a 5 minute walk take care of all other needs. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

What a treat to stay in this perfect little cottage. Easy to find. Easy parking. Spotlessly clean. Lots of beautiful attention to detail - felt luxurious. Plenty of hot water. Comfortable beds. Well equipped. Great location for Hidcote and Kiftsgate (a pretty walk through the fields) and in the centre of a village with two pubs and the home of The Pudding Club across the road. Thank you.
We really enjoyed our stay in Mickleton. The cottage is well set up and very comfortable. Good internet. Well located and close to Stratford-upon-Avon. Two pubs in the village and a grocery store virtually next door.
Beautiful cottage in a perfect setting. Mickleton is s lovely little village with a great shop, two pubs, and a brilliant butcher. All within a 5 min walk of the cottage. Dawn & Steve are great hosts.
Location location location.
We have rented vacation properties all over Europe and the UK for many years.
We like this one the best.
Easy to find.
Steps to 2 very nice pubs.
Even closer to a grocery store,
Very comfortable and well appointed.
Central to everything in the Cotswolds.
Information provided by the owners leaves nothing to Chance.
Any questions answered by owners same day.
The thing I liked best was staying in a place older then me. Dated from the 1500’s. But with every modern conscience.
Thank you for the use of your property. Would have liked to stay longer.
Maybe next time!

We stayed in the Cotswolds for 4 nights and this lovely cottage did not disappoint. A great location with 2 pubs a short 5 min walk and a Morrisons convenience store just 3 houses away. The little touches were appreciated - milk, tea & coffee, sugar, salt & pepper and toiletries. We will definitely be back if its not already booked! Thanks Dawn and Steve for everything.
This was our 2nd stay in this stunning cosy cottage. It’s so lovely and comfortable it’s quite difficult to leave it to explore the area which is also absolutely beautiful. Dawn and Steve are perfect hosts so easy to contact and primarily concerned for your comfort in their lovely cottage. It’s the perfect place to get away from it all and can’t wait to visit again

This was our 1st visit to the Cotswolds and wow what an amazing place. Our cottage was 5*+ from cleanliness, decor, location and so many thoughtful added touches from Dawn and Steve . They where on hand for any questions we had and suggested some beautiful places to visit nothing was too much trouble, so much so we didn’t want to leave and will 1000% be returning to this little gem of a place. Thank you again for a great weekend xx
Thanks to Dawn and Steve for a lovely stay. The cottage is beautiful and well appointed. Checking in process was smooth, parking very convenient and the location is gorgeous! Would also recommend a trip to the nearby King’s Arms- especially on a sunny day when you can enjoy their garden.
This is a beautiful cottage located in a beautiful area. We (two couples) stayed here for the weekend and it was perfect for us. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had wonderful comfortable beds. One of our group is 6ft 3" and banged his head on the low beams a couple of times but it may have knocked some sense into him!!
The local butchers were amazing, they even had GF sausages. The shop had everything else you could need. Two local pubs were great (especially The Kings Arms).
All in all this is is a lovely place to stay. Breakfast in the back courtyard sun trap was a great way to finish our stay.
The pictures of this delightful little cottage are beautiful but can’t possibly show just how perfect everything is. The owners Dawn&Steve have impeccable taste which is replicated right throughout the cottage. It’s beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with absolutely everything you need for a cosy comfortable stay. There are lots of lovely places very nearby but once in there it’s hard to drag yourself away. We really can’t wait to return for a longer stay next time.
Gorgeous, cosy, thatched cottage, with all you could possibly need for a short break or longer visit. Everything is of such high quality, which makes for a comfortable and luxurious stay. Dawn & Steve were wonderful hosts, communication was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble.
We only stayed two nights, but would happily have moved in forever!

About the host

I moved to Mickleton with my Husband Steve in 2017 and we fell in love with the village. My hobbies are gardening, walking, cooking & travelling. The cottage has previously been a successful holiday let and our intention is to continue offering the cottage to the same high standards as Becky has done for the past three years. We live very close to the cottage and are available to help with advice or information to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. We are looking forward to welcoming guests to our beautiful cottage in Mickleton,
Why they chose this property
The cottage has history and is over 475 years old but when you walk inside you have a feeling of being warm and cozy. A great place to relax and recharge. Lovely surroundings making it a good base for a short weekend break away or a week holiday to explore the Cotswolds fully. The cottage has everything you need to live comfortably and safely.
What makes this property unique
The cottage is in the heart of the village of Mickleton with a close village shop a short walk away selling everything you need from fresh bread baked daily, fresh local produce, good selection of wines, ales and beers. We have a fabulous butcher shop 2 minutes walk from the cottage. You have two country pubs less than a five minutes walk from the cottage and the Three Ways House Hotel with a comfortable bar. All within walking distance no need to drive. We have a post office with a shop selling an array of groceries, newspapers, cards and local produce. We have a beautiful Church in the centre of Mickleton St. Lawrence Church. You can come out of the cottage and within a short walk you are walking in fields heading towards Hidcote Gardens National Trust. We can help you with information on where to go to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable time in Mickleton.
