Duart Cottage is a lovely cottage in an excellent location. It is in the heart of Glencoe with fabulous views of the surrounding hills. We enjoyed a long weekend in what felt like a home from home with spacious bedrooms upstairs and a bedroom on the ground floor which is ideal for anyone who might struggle with stairs. The local shop is within a couple of minutes walking distance and there was easy access to local craft shops. We enjoyed numerous walks in the surrounding area with breathtaking views. We didn't need it but I can imagine that the drying room would be an excellent resource for anyone who has spent the day in the hills, either walking or skiing, with jackets, boots etc needing to dry before use the next day. We will definitely be booking another stay at Duart Cottage when we return to Glencoe.
We stayed at Duart cottage for a week up in the mountains. The cottage is brighter and more beautiful than in the pictures. It is very well equipped, decorated and furnished to a high standard and very comfortable. It is close to everything you would need in glen coe village and surrounded by beautiful scenery. We had a bit of a run in with the house manager as he had got mixed up with the check out dates. However, this was quickly resolved with with the owner. All in all, our time at the cottage was lovely. It will always be a special place for us as my boyfriend proposed to me during our trip at the top of Pap! ❤ Thank you Micheal for the fantastic accomodation
