About this property
Tumbling Tom - Double and Two Singles
Situated in the Worcestershire Countryside, Pennlake Vale is a family run Camping Site.
Nigel and Robina have enjoyed farming in this picturesque setting since 1976. The 100 acre lush farmland shares it roots deep within the horticultural community.
Lettuces, tomatoes, spring onions, asparagus and coriander are a selection of the crops that have thrived on the soil here.
Now entering its retirement, the land has has given way to lush grassland, and although some occasional seasonal crops can be seen across the skyline, the site offers itself to relaxation and recovery.
Three fresh water lakes survive a busy history of crop irrigation and now feel more at home accommodating the local wildlife.
Pennlake Vale hosts two hot tents in the heart of its private farmland. Pets are welcome and each tent will hold four people.
Wi-Fi/Wood burner/Fridge/Electric/Fire pit/Bedding is available.
Pennlake Vale is suitable for those seeking a private getaway. The site boasts plentiful private grassland surrounding the tents to relax and unwind. Three lakes can be found in the surrounding farmland, noticeably two of these extend immediately in front of the tents giving them a tranquil and private backdrop.
Pennlake Vale sits in active farming countryside. Although it is very much quiescent in comparison to its former years, we do invite a local clay pigeon shooting club onto the land on occasional Sundays. They are a very friendly group entering a separate corner of the farmland out of sight of the tents. Those entertaining extended early walks on a Sunday morning, may run into one of their enthusiasts, and long time Pennlake Farm manager; Jason. A younger version of Jason can be spotted on the heritage photos of our website in the height of a summer harvest.
