About this property
Perfectly Positioned to Play on the Kenai Peninsula
This beach house, and camping area, is located in Ninilchik, directly on the ocean. Sleeps 4 comfortably. You can have the full Alaska experience, camping out on the grounds, as well.
Fish for halibut, 4 different type salmon, depending on the season and timing of runs, shark , rock fish. Ninilchik is located roughly in the middle of the Kenai Pennisula. It is Within 10 miles to Stariski creek, and a few miles further down, to the world famous, Anchor River, continuing down the sterling highway to Homer, which is a beautiful, scenic 40 minute drive. The other direction to Kenai/Soldotna/Sterling, Cooper landing, and about an hour drive to Seward which are 5 of the nearby world class fishing rivers and waters. It is a beautiful, easy 40 mile drive to Homer and 35/45 miles to Soldotna/Kenai respectively. There are miles of beach to beachcomb and to play. With up to 29 foot tides and wildlife including eagles, sea otters, porpoises and whales, moose, and bear are some of the wildlife that you may see on the property, or on the scenic drives. On a clear day, from the house, you will see "the ring of fire" volcanoes: Augustine, IlIama, and Redoubt. Mt Douglas, is an inactive volcano. During the summer months commercial salmon fishermen put their nets in the waters out front as they have since statehood.
