This spacious, contemporary holiday barn conversion is nestled in the small village of Over Haddon, Nestled in the heart of the Peak District National Park, Lathkill Dale is known for its beautiful scenery offering many walks and cycle trails. The charming village of Ashford in the Water and The old market town of Bakewell, made famous for its pudding are 3 miles away, where you can walk or hire bikes and cycle The Monsal Trail, or take a day and visit Chatsworth House and its beautiful gardens, fountains and waterfalls. Medieval Haddon Hall is also close by as is Buxton with its gardens and opera house. Take a stroll along the river where the cable car at Matlock Bath rises to the Heights of Abraham, admiring the stunning views along the gorge known as Little Switzerland. Attractions include The Mining Museum, Gulliver’s Kingdom and Aquarium, are just a few of the attractions. Visit Castleton in the Hope Valley and take a tour of the caves where the beautiful Blue John stone is mined, Carsington reservoir for water sports, and Alton Towers for thrills and fun. Golf and horse riding within 5 miles. Shop and restaurant 2½ miles. Pub 100 yards.

Delightful surroundings, beautifull barn conversion furnished to a high standard. great place to stay- v close to Bakewell. Did an 8 mile circular walk from the barn through Lathkill dale and surrounding villages. Would recommend

Beautiful home in a beautiful area
Perfect get away destination which for us was a 3 generation family break. Completely enclosed garden safe for children or dogs. The barn is set in a little village a few miles from the busy little town of Bakewell. Well appointed accommodation with everything you could need and quick response from owner when we got slightly lost on arrival.

Perfect spot for a getaway
We had a lovely stay at Manor Barn. The property is set in a beautiful hamlet with walks straight from the front door but is also ideally located to explore the Peak District. The barn is clean, comfy and well equipped and was the perfect place to relax in the evenings. The hosts were helpful throughout the booking process and the welcome basket and information provided was extremely helpful. Highly recommend.

We stayed here at short notice, and Steve was so responsive and accommodating. He went the extra mile to ensure everything was fully prepared for us. He ensured the property was clean and ready for our arrival. The property is extremely well presented and is exactly as described. The location was excellent. Really accessible for stunning walks, with a great pub/Hotel nearby where we were also really well looked after. I would definitely recommend Steve and his property. Thank you for everything.

Fantastic Cozy Barn
We were visiting our family in Derbyshire and were so fortunate to stumble upon this great place. Perfectly located close to Bakewell the property is very well appointed and very well furnished. Steve, our host, was extremely responsive and nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant!

Wonderful Stay
We visited this property, a group of four ladies for three nights in July and had a fantastic time. The property was immaculate, very clean and perfect for our requirements. Stephen was great to communicate with and the welcome hamper was wonderful and very much appreciated. Good parking near the property, the village is perfect to explore the gorgeous Derbshire Dales, very close to Bakewell and Matlock. We had a lovely meal at the Lathkil Hotel which is only around 100 yards from the property with amazing views of the Dales. We cannot recommend this property and the hosts enough and will definitely return.

Great family holiday location
This lovely barn conversion was very spacious and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was small but well planned and it was easy to prepare family meals if we weren't going out. The garden is safe and and a very relaxing place to spend some time. There are great walks from the front door and Bakewell is handy for shopping. Loads to see and do locally for everyone. All three generations enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Christmas get away with my family
We was greated to a lovely hamper on arrival, cleanliness was spot on location was perfect for frosty/ snowy walks with the family. Highly recommend!
