About this property

This complex called Porto Cari was one of the first to be built and thanks to this it enjoys a privileged situation within the marina.

Its current owner renovated it a few years ago giving it a modern touch but preserving its details in the construction.

From its terrace you can enjoy wonderful views over the port, from where you can see the movement of the boats and the beautiful bay.

The apartment offers the fully open living area with dining area, lounge area and kitchen with breakfast bar. From the living room there is access to the terrace. It has two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes. The master double bedroom with ensuite shower room and a balcony overlooking the marina. The second bedroom with two single beds and a shower room located in the hall that distributes the bedrooms.

There is no pool at the property but our guests have access to the pool of complex Puerta del Sol when openened in the season. This is 1 minute walk away.

This property is ideal for lovers of boats and ports, also thanks to its location one can enjoy a vacation without having to drive since it has a maximum of 15 minutes walking one can reach the nearest beach Calo d´es Pou and Going out for lunch or dinner is only going down some stairs and choosing what kind of food you want that day.

The center of Cala d´Or is on the other side of the Marina for a maximum of 30 minutes walking.

Es war ein super Urlaub

Die Wohnung war schwer zu finden und in der Küche haben Grundausstattungen wie Öl, Salz, Pfeffer, Spüli,… gefehlt. Ansonsten war alles super und das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis hat sehr gut gepasst.

Tired apartment

Smell of drains when we arrived. Plumber came following day. Rusty fridge, worktops lifting, rusty bathroom mirror, limescale in both showers. Communal pool not as advertised. Photos on website do not match what we actually received. Contacted owner who responded well. View amazing but wouldn't stay there again.

Family hols in the sunshine

The communication from the property manager was excellent prior to arrival and good instructions given. The property was great- clean and well presented. The kitchen was adequately equipped for our needs. The bedrooms were good, although new pillows are required. The balcony overlooks the beautiful harbour, stunning location. The property is close to many beaches, bars and restaurants. The harbour is a nice location to eat or the town of Cala d’or is in walking distance. The property also had some beach equipment to borrow- and the sun brollies definitely came in handy! This property was pretty perfect for our 9 day stay. My only advisory would be the noise from a club in town on a Fri and sat night that doesn’t close until 6am- nothing to fault with the owners but it was very noisy on those 2 evenings. Overall a lovely holiday.

Disappointed

Lack of cleanliness in bathrooms and kitchen maintenance required in both bathrooms. Bed in master bedroom really uncomfortable only slept there first night moved to twin room for rest of stay. Sent email on first day to letting agency with our issues we should have sent it on arrival was the reply which we couldn’t do as there was literally nothing by way of welcome pack in the kitchen. So on crutches we had to find a supermarket at 4pm having been travelling since 5.15am. No oven gloves no dishclothes no salt pepper kitchen roll the list is endless. Bedding has seen better days and needs replacing dining room chairs need urgent attention due to being unstable. View is lovely and location ideal but wouldn’t stay in this apartment again sadly.

The apartment has a beautiful view of the marina. We visited in February so it was really quiet and relaxing. Just steps down to the marina and restaurant Porta Cari is very good which really close. The only 2 negatives are the odd mattress arrangement on top of another mattress in the main bedroom which was too uncomfortable to sleep on so we used the other room. And the fact the kitchen is a little under equipped to properly self cater. We would definitely return though as we had a lovely stay and waking up to the sunrise over the marina was beautiful!

Beautiful Apartment, Amazing Location

We stayed here at the end of August with our 2 young girls and what an amazing apartment. Spacious living area and kitchen with a fabulous balcony overlooking the Marina. 2 bedrooms with plenty of storage space and great air conditioning. 2 big bathrooms with a great shower in each. Close to the restaurants in the Marina and a 20 minute walk into Cala d’Or. Great apartment for chilling out on the balcony people watching and admiring the boats coming into the Marina. Would definitely recommend. Nathalie is an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely be back soon.

Es un apartamento muy cómodo, amplio y funcional que te permite disfrutar de unas perfectas vacaciones. Está ubicado en una zona privilegiada, perfecta para los amantes de la náutica y las excursiones a calas y entornos impresionantes. Por otra parte destacar la amabilidad de Alejandra que en todo momento nos facilito muchísimo nuestra estancia. Sin duda muy recomendable.

Heel leuk appartement met airco. De keuken is wel wat verouderd en hier stond echt niets van producten om de afwas te doen, maar op zich niet zo erg. Het enige wat wij echt lastig vonden is dat er geen wifi is voorzien in dit appartement, maar dat is natuurlijk niet voor iedereen belangrijk. Voor de rest is het echt een leuke buurt en je het privé paring. Cala Petita is 25 minuten wandelen langs het haventje.

The location of this property gives the opportunity of enjoying holidays without having to drive as town centres of Cala Egos is only 10 minutes walk, the town centre of Cala d´Or 20 minutes and you can chose on different beaches during your stay.

The Mediterranean food is well known and Cala d´Or provides an extremely large selection of restaurants with many different types.

The election of location, type of property etc... is a very important part of an incredible vacation.
