vrKCV - Keiki Beach 6 at Kona Bay Estates

This beautiful island home, is 100 feet from the beach, and will provide an amazing vacation experience.

*Lot next door is starting to build July 2023. Could include loud machinery and construction noise. Work will go on from 8AM -4PM Monday - Friday*

This beautiful 5,000 square foot home is located in Kona Bay Estates. Kona Bay Estates is an exclusive, small, gated-guarded community. The community is located on a rare lagoon with a sandy beach known for being safe for children, and which is usable year-round.

This three story home is ideally located in a private gated and guarded community within walking distance to town and is 100 feet from the beach. This home includes a pool, numerous lanais, garage, and a view of Kailua-Bay.

Keiki Beach Hale, built in 2003 with 5,000 square feet of living area, includes a large primary bedroom with its own lanai, a walk-in open shower and large tub. The primary bedroom also has its own TV and a Cal King bed. Two other bedrooms, with Cal Kings. AC is provided in the advertised **upstairs bedrooms only**.

The main floor includes a large modern kitchen with granite counter tops, bar, sitting area near kitchen, dining area on the enclosed lanai, living room, and a second large family room on the back lanai. There is a den on the main floor as well. There are a total of 3.5 bathrooms throughout the home.

The lower floor level has an entertainment room with wet bar, and large screen TV. This room opens to the pool and has a full bath.

Kona Bay Estates is adjacent to community tennis courts, soccer fields, and the public gymnasium with a large pool.

If you have never been to the Big Island, we are on the sunny side of the biggest island in Hawai'i with the clearest blue water in the world. We have 80% of the Hawaiian land mass with 20% of the people. This property is located within walking distance of Famous Ali'i Drive and the Kona Pier. A great place to participate in the diversity of activities, shopping and fun dining in Kailua-Kona village.

Minimum night varies seasonally 5 - 10 nights. This is a non-smoking, no pets property. To assist compliance with Hawaii County Ordinance 18-114, please be aware that noise aware decibel warning devices are installed in this home. They do not record any conversation, but they do alert us if the noise levels exceed the residential limits in the area.

Great place for a vacation!

Overall the stay was good. The house was clean, had all the basic necessities we needed for our stay. Of course if you plan on cooking a lot the variety of spices that are in stock at the house is limited, but that’s not why we choose this location. We choose it because of its location for places to eat and it's proximity to the queens bath. the A/C i. the 3 bedrooms ups stairs all didn't cool, Friday, the day we arrived. luckily i was able to call management, and they sent a tech out to troubleshoot. he charged the A/C and everything was fine. On Monday, we noticed that the master bedroom A/C stopped cooling in the morning when we woke up. I called management again and they sent a tech out again. they called back and said they could install a window unit because the part they needed was off the island. i agreed and by the time we got back from being out that day, the window unit was installed and cooling the room. by Wednesday, the other two bedrooms had to have window units installed as well. all in all, its a beautiful home and would stay again despite the A/C issues.

Gorgeous and comfortable!!

We came to the Big Island for a wedding and chose this house to give our group of 8 plenty of room to spread out. It is a beautifully maintained house, well appointed, and has gorgeous views and landscaping. We loved the security of being in a gated community that is so close to everything and just a short walk to the beautiful beach/tide pool where we were able to swim and snorkel.

Such a great stay!

We loved our time at the house. It is perfect for small families or groups of adults. Plenty of room for when you need your own space. Short walk to the sandy beach and community pool. The pool at the house was also great and the set up as a whole worked well for us two small families

Wonderful stay

The house is amazing. Lots of space for everyone. Kids loved the downstairs room with the huge tv during downtime. The pool is wonderful to have, though the large vacuum that has to stay in the pool at all times is a bit of a drag. Since it's already a smaller pool it takes up a lot of space when the kids are trying to play. Not a deal breaker but worth mentioning. The AC in the bedrooms work very well. Without them it would be miserable to try and sleep in July. Short walk to a little beach that has a nice tide pool to swim in at low tide. Overall we had a wonderful week and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Relaxing Family Vacation

Stayed here for 2 weeks for a family vacation and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and the location was perfect. Easy 15 minute walk into town and about a 2 minute stroll to the beach. Management company was very responsive to our questions and the community felt very safe with 24 hour security patrol. All in all a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing vacation home

I could not be more happy with this vacation home. It was the cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in. It was very spacious. Loved the layout. There was even a 4th bedroom and was only listed as a 3rd. Very pleasant surprise. We got to spread out even more. Great location. Great views. We would definitely stay again. Mahalo

Everything was great. Watching the Olympics on the patio was great fun. The pool was just the right size. The only thing that was a bit of an issue was the stairs. My old bones got a workout.

An Amazing Family Retreat

This property did not just meet expectations, but exceeded them in every sense imaginable. It was a great location to town, walking distance to a small, secluded beach. It had space for the entire group to spread out, but also great spaces for everyone to enjoy time together. We can't wait for our next visit!! ALOHA and MAHALO!!

This house was just as described! We loved it!

We loved being able to cook our own meals in the fully furnished kitchen. We loved our private pool and it also was super close to the beach if that is preferred. We would definitely rent here again in the future!

Best Family Vacation

After year not able to vacation, this Hawaii vacation was a breathe of fresh air. This house was perfect for my family. It was beautiful, had a space for everyone, perfect location, great Lanai’s, a backyard w/a pool and pool table that we gathered in everyday for family time. The kitchen was well stocked with everything to make great family meals. David, our concierge was wonderful and was easy to get a hold of. He booked our most memorable activities..Ziplining, ATV and the Manta Ray snorkel. Will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit to the Big Island.

Great house for a family. Responsive manager. We had a problem with one of the air conditioners in a bedroom. It was fixed quickly. Nice walk to a little beach that is perfect for young children.

Great house, great location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This review is mainly for Kona Coast Vacations as we are probably not typical tourists. The house was clean, as described, comfortable and well maintained. Its location is very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and the ocean. The vacation was marred by the very loud television of the small house to the south which ran 10 hours a day. After we extended our stay, we were told about the construction. We should have been told before. If the issue with the loud TV could be resolved, we would stay there again. PS. We had a medical emergency during the trip. Our efforts to contact the concierge to point us in the right direction were not answered.

Big and Beautiful

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We vacationed with multiple families for 10 days this time. We had plenty of bedrooms and lots of space for everyone. We found that the home has a full sized wooden crib, rather than a pack-n-play. This is a handy bit of information for parents with an infant. We had 4 small children ages 5, 3 and 2 with us and they all navigated the stone floors and stairs with out any issue. Downside (for some) was there is no TV on the main floor so children had to watch TV in a bedroom or downstairs. The appliance are well used, but all were functional. The Keki beach is a wonderful place for the small children to play in the sand and water. Its extremely sheltered and calm. The community is generally quiet, although new construction started during our stay.
