Disappointing apartment
There are too many issues to list but here are some of them.
In no particular order:
- The balconies had not been swept or cleaned so were disappointing compared to those shown on the website.
- two bathroom lights were not working then we arrived
- there was no soap anywhere, not in bathrooms or for dishwashing. When I enquired of Hello Homes, they told me no soap was provided. Very cheap for such an expensive unit.
- Suite handbook was no there when we arrived and not delivered as promised. We picked it up at the office ourselves.
- Lawn chairs for the balconies had cushions which were disgusting - stained and not clean
- Furniture was old, some stained and some falling apart, equipment was in disrepair
- we were not shown the laundry facilities and there was no soap for washer if we had wanted to use it.
- no manuals for use of oven or stove
- Florencia was not dependable and did not follow up with many things we asked her about or for. She seemed disinterested in us or the apartment
- I could go on and on but won't. Suffice it to say that the apartment was a great disappointment.
- However, the apartment is very well located and the sheets and towels were clean. With a little more effort, this apartment could be first class, but as we experienced it, I would not recommend it.
- We have stayed in many VRBO properties and have always had very good or excellent experiences. I hope the owner will address these issues as she has a potentially great apartment.
