A stunning location
We have loved our week here in the Ardeche. The Gîte is in a beautiful location with stunning views 5km from Vals Les Bains. As such you need a car as the nearest amenities are 5km away. The owners were very friendly. The Gîte was spotless and with a well appointed kitchen and gas grill on the balcony, which we used alot. During our week we did walks, canyoning, kayaking, river swimming ( can definitely recommend Pont du Diable only 25 mins away by car) and explored local medieval towns. The tourist office in Vals Les Bains were really helpful and booked activities for us at no extra charge. Particularly useful as our French is not good. The only downside (if you could call it that) is the WiFi is very slow. Not a problem for me, although the teenagers were forced to get use to this. Everyone we met during our week here was lovely and very patient with our attempts at French. The area has so much to offer, we will be back.

Séjour au gîte buissonnière
Appartement très agréable avec terrasse couverte offrant belle vue sur la piscine et les monts environnants. Cathie est très accueillante et disponible durant le séjour. Piscine conforme à l annonce qui a été très appréciée sur notre semaine de canicule. Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour dans ce gîte.

Merveilleuses vacances.
Nous venons de passer 2 semaines merveilleuses dans le gîte de Cathy et Serge. Les possibilités dans les environs sont nombreuses : visites de villages, randonnées, piscine, rivière, kayak, marchés,... Le gîte est situé sur les hauteurs de Vals, il y fait bon vivre, au calme et en pleine nature. Merci à Cathy et Serge de nous avoir permis de passer un excellent séjour. Nous espérons revenir bientôt.

Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire et très bon accueil. Logement propre. Pour nous, literie de qualité insuffisante, mais vu avec la propriétaire qui devrait voir à cela :) Piscine grande et propre. Belle terrasse avec vue magnifique. Gite un peu isolé. Près d'Aubenas, mais petites routes de montagne. ---> région magnifique, nous reviendrons en Ardèche!

Verblijf in de Ardèche
Het was een heerlijk verblijf. Fijne rustige omgeving, heerlijk verwarmd zwembad met veel spelletjes op locatie. Prettig appartement. Gas barbecue aanwezig op een ruim balkon. Fietsroute parallel aan de hoofdweg voor toegang tot het dorp (wel elektrisch). Aardige vrouw, goed Engels. Al met al genoten.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette ancienne école, rénovée de façon agréable et fonctionnelle. Cathie nous a très bien accueillis et permis de nous sentir chez nous tout de suite. Zeer nette comfortabele vakantiewoning, met vriendelijke eigenaars die zorgen voor een onbezorgd verblijf. Gelegen in een hoger en rustig deel van Vals les Bains. Prachtige streek die ons zeker kon bekoren en dit alles op aanvaardbare afstanden.

Gîte avec une vue magnifique sur la vallée, ultra équipé, litterie ultra confort, piscine chauffée. Une hôte très accueillante et bienveillante au petit soin pour ses vacanciers. Situation magnifique - gite très propre - propriétaires adorables
La vue de l'appartement est magnifique (ce gite en compte 4 mais ils sont tous tournés côté sud). C'est vraiment très calme car ce gite est le seul du lotissement et la route n'est vraiment pas passante. En revanche, estomacs accrochés car la route est parfois étroite et tourne beaucoup (Attention aux GPS qui peuvent vous faire passer par un chemin que je ne souhaite à personne ) L'intérieur de l'appartement est très propre, fonctionnel et très bien équipé (what else compris^^). Seule la machine à laver le linge est commune. Table de ping-pong, babyfoot et petite cuisine en jouet permettent aussi d'occuper les enfants. Et bien sur la piscine (28°C lors de notre séjour), avec de nombreux bains de soleil permettent de se détendre en toute quiétude. Et pour finir, la gentillesse et la disponibilité de nos hôtes nous donne envie de ne pas repartir. On peut même avoir le droit à une surprise vraiment sympathique lors du séjour Merci Cathie !!! Nous le recommandons chaudement :)

Gîte incroyablement bien équipé et très propre (intérieur moderne). Accueil très chaleureux, calme et vue imprenable depuis les balcons ! Depuis Vals les bains, compter 10 min de route en lacet qui grimpe. Très bon spot pour sillonner l'Ardèche et finir par un plouf dans la piscine (plus indéniable) !
