About this property

The OCEAN VISTA suite is an 800+ sq ft suite with magnificent ocean views. The living area features a cozy gas fireplace and a large wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s a queen bed in a separate bedroom, a kitchen for simple meal preparation and an outdoor eating area on your own private ocean view deck!

The outdoor view deck offers a large covered area with space for lounging and dining. This incredible waterfront suite is perfect for a couple. This unit is the lower floor (walk out) of the main beach house.

The property features the best hot tub on the Coast, housed in a cedar pavilion overlooking the ocean, and a unique private beach setting with a large deck right at the water's edge.

Our location says it all! West facing for sun and sunsets, views to die for, walk to Davis Bay, drive less than 5 mins to Sechelt (where you'll find all amenities). Under 1/2 hour from the ferry terminal -- you'll be relaxing on your arrival day, not travelling!

Chapman Creek Hatchery and Party Ponies and Farm Ventures are also worth visiting. Make sure you get close to the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Magical getaway with sweeping views.

The views are spectacular with multiple viewing points. The home is well-kept and comfortable. As noted, the hill to the property is very steep. Be mindful of bad knees or carrying too much. Many stairs to the beach, but so worth the payoff! Would definitely book again.

Davis Bay getaway

My wife and I stayed four nights at Beachside, which is well located a couple of km south of Sechelt, and even closer to Davis Bay with its great restaurants. The Beachside property has one small bedroom, a big bathroom with a double shower, a good-sized kitchen area (no oven, but functional) and a big living area with sofa, easy chair and a table for two in front of the gas fireplace. We found it all to be clean, comfortable and convenient. There is a very nice hot tub with same great view as the living room and a beautiful deck way down (138 steps) at the beach. The driveway is very steep, amazingly so, as is the walk down from the bottom of the driveway to the door of the unit. Ian, the host, was there to greet us when we arrived and we found him to be very pleasant and helpful. Communications were very good. We really enjoyed our stay, and we can't recommend Beachside highly enough!

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay. All the comforts of home, spotlessly clean, with a spectacular ocean view off your private deck. The double shower with steam is lovely too! awesome place

One of the best accommodations we've ben to. Place is clean, spacious and big patio and hot tub are great . The hill is steep but manageable which give good exercise. Patio on beach is awesome and we would definitely recommend this place.

Relaxing and very Peaceful

We had a wonderful week relaxing at this property. The stairway down to the lower deck was great exercise and the view of the ocean was worth it the hike. The layout of this cabin was different but it felt cozy. The bed was comfortable and bedding and linens lovely. All kitchen supplies were there. we watched the birds, boats and planes go by from the hot tub. If you want to relax this is the place for it.

Perfect Anniversary Trip

Location was great: close to the city but also nice, quiet, private beach. Hot tub was perfect, as was the steam shower. One of the cleanest places we've stayed at. It's a steep climb to the unit and to the beach, so just be prepared for that. Ian and Linda are great hosts and we could see all of the effort that was put in to maintaining this amazing place!

Delightful stay with an impressive view. As for the "upper suite" unless you enjoy hauling your luggage up and down a very steep driveway. The exit from the property on busy Hwy 101 can be a bit daunting.

Another amazing stay at Ian’s and Linda’s…. What a quick and a great way to escape from Vancouver’s city noise and enjoy the peace and quiet of their beautiful cabin!!!! And everything else that comes with it!!!! The only complaint we’ve ever had is not being able to stay longer…

Perfect First Anniversary

We had an entire suite with large balcony overlooking the water and it was much more than we expected. We stayed two nights in October to celebrate our first anniversary and it could not have been more perfect. The covered hot tub on a lower balcony was perfect for evening relaxation. Hosts are wonderful and provide a great guide to the community - it was our first time on the Sunshine Coast and it was most helpful. You can't pass this place up - make this your first choice and your vacation will be a great success.

I could see for miles and miles

Stunning views on every level of the property. Not for the faint of heart as the elevation change from the top of the property to the lower deck is substantial. The accommodations were clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. A little piece of paradise in Sechelt.

Fabulous Spot!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this property. The host was awesome, very accommodating! It lived up to our expectations. Beautiful view, lovely hot tub and steam shower, cozy, great covered deck. It is a very steep climb down to this unit and even further down to the beach, but worth the effort. No complaints, book it, you won't be disappointed!
