This beach front vacation condo rental is located in Destin Florida along the Emerald Coast. Condo rental #609 accommodates up to 6 people with a king in the master bedroom 32' TV, Queen in the guest bedroom 32'TV, and a sleeper sofa in the living room 50' TV. Destin's Beach is just steps away with a beautiful view from your private balcony. All units are non-smoking.

This Destin vacation rental has recently been updated to include new molding, fresh paint, new furnishings, and decor through out the unit. The Living Room has a new sofa, loveseat, chair, & lights. The kitchen has been repainted and now offers an extended view into the living areas with new light fixtures. The dining room chairs and bar stools have been reupholstered. Both bedrooms have fresh paint, new bedding, new plantation shutters, and HD flat screen TVs.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. The living room rug was very dirty, the master bath shower needs the grout cleaned. And the quality of paper-goods are so bad you might as well not have them. Annual vacation at the Islander May 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We initially had rented a different unit but due to unexpected issues had to be moved to a different one. The staff was very helpful and made sure to get us moved to another platinum room on the same floor with the same view (east). We ended up staying 2 extra nights. All of the staff on duty during our 9 day stay were very friendly and available to help when needed. The Islander is so convenient to everything and our unit was clean and well-stocked.

The only complaint is the cleanliness of the stairwells. The trash chute stairs need extensive cleaning and power washing. I personally would never stay close to that area. I also think the pavilion could use a large ceiling fan. My family enjoyed all the activities provided. See you again soon.

My only complaint is that it is advertised as having a sleeper sofa and it did not have one. Management gave us an air mattress and said the sleeper sofa was on back order so hopefully that will be rectified soon. Other than that, everything was great. I would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We try to come to Destin twice a year and most of the time we stay at the Islander. This year we stayed 2 weeks. I have walking issues so we wanted close to the elevator. Unit 609 was perfect. The only complaint we have with the condo was the refrigerator. it made a high pitched sound the whole 2 weeks.Alan was great with the chairs and all of the attendees at the desk were always friendly and helpful especially Wayne . I'm afraid our secret is out. Very crowded the first week!
