About this property
The Hop Kiln and The Hayloft are two unique and attractive holiday lets
Set adjacent to a working farm on the North Herefordshire and South Shropshire boarder, The Hop Kiln and The Hayloft have been beautifully converted to create two comfortable, unique and attractive holiday lets, sleeping six guests in two self-contained properties. Great care has been taken in the renovation to perfectly blend the traditional exposed beams and brickwork with stylish, modern fixtures. The result is a comfortable, cosy and enjoyable retreat.
The larger of the two features a unique circular sitting room and bedroom in what was once the drying room of the former hop kiln. Just around the corner is the Hayloft, a completely self-contained, first floor apartment accessed via private external stairway. The Hop Kiln has a large enclosed lawned garden with glorious views over the cider apple orchard. There is plenty of space inside and out to be enjoyed with family and friends.
The Hop Kiln and Hayloft are set within deep countryside, the ideal location for avid walkers and cyclists. The owners' farmland offers some lovely walks, fishing is available on the River Arrow at an additional charge and there is access to an outdoor tennis court which can be arranged through the owner. The properties are on the famous 40 mile circular Black and White Trail, which is characterised by the rich landscapes and many picturesque timbered and half-timbered houses in the area. Close by are an array of country pubs and restaurants, as well as numerous apple and cider distilleries. Within 2 miles there are also several supermarkets and local amenities, you can also enjoy a short walk into the village where there is a working dairy and excellent tea room.
